This is a rainfall recording for 3 hours from 14th september 2014 over pécel, hungary. I recorded this by my sony stereo dicatphone for tealc166 but of course everyone can listen to it.

My first recorded sound! it's actually just 6 secs long. I was on a vacation yesterday to a cottage resort, but it was a really rainy day. I decided to take out my $300 samsung to record a bit of the rain. I had the quality at 22khz, so the quality kinda sucks but it's still ok. I also have 2 more sounds (i couldn't record any more because my mic on the tablet broke and it only picks up static).

There is a vent in my house that sounds fantastic when it rains. The drops hitting the tin cover sound almost like popping popcorn in this recording, but it's a more friendly sound in person. The rain outside is very much present in the background, but the bouncing raindrops are very easy to hear. Recorded on a windows x8 phone and left as-is. I recorded the end of a rain storm with water running off of the house and multitudes and species of frogs in the background. I used my phone to record a mono track and then used audacity to simulate spatial stereo. It made the traffic in the distance sound like spirits moaning. I thought it was pretty cool. (-;.

Created for the play 'exit the king' (wilbury group, 2011). A expressionistic storm, with walls crumbling down in slow motion. I made this by tearing wood and plastic apart and slowing down the sounds and adding percussion. The rain i recorded out my window.
