This is a recording of very low frequency hum of a steel mill. The sample has been low pass filtered. The main frequency is about at 25hz. The sound was recorded some distance away of the steel mill area, where it mixed with other sounds as a constant hum, which could be felt in body too at certain spots.

This sound was created with layering and frequency processing. Bpm 130.

I did not use paul's extreme sound stretch, but rather took an original recording of a glockenspiel (with a lot of reverb), and set the playback rate to around 20% its original value. Well, this was a happy accident. I was trying to record my neighborhood with birds, etc, but of course living in los angeles that was practically impossible, so instead i captured this great helicopter passing directly overhead. Recorded with: audio technica bp 4025, sound devices 702t.

I slowed down engine/propeller sounds taken from the lovely josemaria ( http://www. Freesound. Org/people/josemaria/sounds/131046/ ) and added more bass.
