Opening/closing an old door, recorded with a roland r-26. Let me know if you need 4 channels (from directional and omnidirectional mics), this is a stereo mix of both.
A short intro (longer variation). Perfect for games and films with retro or classical sci-fi style. Sound is completely free, it was made in lmms using zynaddsubfx (both open source and free).
Sound of me typing on my old typewriter (the model is hermes 3000) ranging from fast-paced typing to single letters, the margin bell ringing, scrolling the paper up and down. . . Recorded on my zoom h5 stereo mic.
Came up with my own version of a windmill, following instructions on another site:. Http://www. Garagegames. Com/community/blogs/view/11231. Though instead of pitch-shifting some of the sounds as instructed, i time-stretched them (also affecting the pitch) to give them a bigger feel. .
Rusty heavy freight elevator descending. Recordist peter brucker / recorded 4/21/2019 / shotgun microphone / mini fridge hum, spatula on metal great, sheet metal against wire fence / edited in logic pro x.
Electrical vibration impact sound like a force field repulsion reminiscent of the old atari video games. Has a click at the end which needs to be edited out.
Honky-tonk piano, for background in western saloon, interrupted by the arrival of a stranger. For uninterrupted version see vdublin_honky_tonk_saloon_piano. Wav. Composed by me.
A door creaking into a spatial, hollow abyss. Spatial depth, large room. Creepy, ominous creak. Recorded with the tascam dr-40 built-in microphones, processed in pro tools 10, bounced to a 48khz 24bit wav file.
Yep, a classic recording. A must in your bucket list. That's a pendulum clock, as you can hear. With a featuring refridgerator (sorry). But the clock sounds sweet, in my perspective. It's recorded with a tascam dr100.
Another composition of elevator sounds, this time more modern than last. 0,00 - 0,65: button0,65 - 11,50: door close11,50 - 52,90: ride (+ chime at the end)52,90 - 58,55: door open.

Sound shutter and rapid shooting of old nikon 2020 camera edited with audacity. Recorded on shock-mounted zoom h1 mic, record level 62, autogain off, gain low. Record location, inside a car in a single garage (great sound room).
This was a car sound i made for an animated video, though it does not appear in all versions of it. I recall that i made it by dragging a pencil along a piece of wood.
The same bonnie file but this time run through rx's spectral denoise to clean it up a bit. A little bird noise is still audible between the clicks, but pulling samples from it should be much cleaner and easier to isolate. Enjoy.
Sound of travel in an old elevator in warsaw. Opening and closing of the doors, the sound of elevator going up with squeals of old machinery. Finally it stops, door opens and shuts.
