This underwater breathing was created in audacity. To create this sound i generated 2 tracks rhythms on 2 different mono tracks. For the breathing i created a rhythm "click noise" and added the effect "paulstrech". I deleted some moments of silences. I tried to simulate a heartbeat. I generated a rhythm tracks "noise click" and added the effect "echo". I selected in the track a sound wich looks like to a beat, cut the remain and add the repeated effect on the selected moment. I added bass to make the son more organic and reduced the gain. ---. Typologie/morphologie de shaeffer. Ce son est un mélange de continu complexe (x) et d'itération complexe (x''). Masse :son cannelé. Mélange de sons complexes avec des hauteurs. Grain : a la fois rugueux (la respiration) mais aussi lisse (les battements de cœur). Dynamique :l'attaque est plus ou moins violente avec des variations. Profil mélodique :variation scalaire.

This is a version of a previous file i created (https://freesound. Org/people/funwithsound/sounds/394897/)that includes a gong at the end to make it more dramatic. It would be really nice of you to credit the user "veiler" for their awesome gong sound, and maybe me for making the failure sound. But no obligations. :-). While perusing freesound for a nice and dramatic sound or two of failures, all the ones i've seen were pretty wimpy, so-to-speak. So i decided to create a few failure samples on a music-making program called musescore. These are for big whopper failures (or "epic failures") and are very dramatic - they may also be used for a scary event in a film or play. It includes a short buildup and a loud dissonant chord at the end to create suspense and horror. For this project i used violins, violas, cellos, double basses, timpani, cymbals and brass. Enjoy!.

A recording of ringing a bicycle bell, slowed by 64%. Production stages- first of all we recorded the sound of a bicycle bell, then i imported it to audacity. I cut the beginning as well as the end, adding a constant gain at the beginning and a constant fade at the end so that the sound would be even more harmonic. Then i slightly compressed the sound, and normalized it. Then i used a “noise reduction” in order to get rid of the sound in the background and a slight equalizer. Ce son est de type v- continu varié. Dès le début il augmente avec les vibrations de la sonnette. C’est un son cannelé. Il est harmonique et résonant et ressemble à une cloche, mais est en fait une sonnette d’un bicyclette ralenti à 64%. Il est lisse et comporte des vibrations (vibrato). L’attaque au début est graduelle, douce, clair, riche et saturé. Il y a des variations scalaires qui nous ammenent à un pic clairement montré. C’est un son énergique et joyeux.

What is music forge project?music forge project (mfp) is a library of plug-in presets and scores (no samples or copyrighted material). I myself have built this library (if someone wants to give presets for the library, it is much appreciated). The library uses a series of free vst (not included in the installation of the mfp). This is the first recording in this pack from inside a traditional, working old dutch windmill, called de lelie - the lily - in the picturesque dutch village of eenrum. This mill was used to grind grain. There was a strong northwesterly breeze straight from te sea, so the sails of the windmill were in full swing, this morning on saturday may 14th. The dominant sound you hear is the sound of the so called “schuddebak”, litterally translated as “shaking bin”. This is a device in the form of a large wooden shovel which is tapping against the turning millstone in order to distribute the grain equally along the millstone. On the background you hear the millstone itself. On the second recording in this pack, the millers had detached the schuddebak, so the sound of the millstone is more dominant in that recording. This windmill is now a small museum. Admission is free, so everyone can admire this proud dutch windmill heritage which reclaimed half our country from the sea and gave us our daily bread. Thanks to the millers fort heir hospitality and cooperation!. (i used an iphone with a zoom iq5).

Worth mentioning that the groan track is separate from the conversation, for those who want to use just one or the other. I hesitate to say i'm in training, but in a way i am. I don't really know what sorts of things i can get away with, so i have become acquainted with a brit who, i thought, knows everything there is to know. Instead, she may be a bit of an experimenter, and she practices a bit fast and loose. I surely can tell she loves it. . . During this bit of conversation i saw her reach and turn the clamping screws tighter. Extrusion. Interesting. One might wonder why he puts up with it, and i can tell you, he doesn't. A session like this one and he doesn't speak to me for a week. It goes on, i can tell you, at least until he finds where i keep the handcuffs. I do know where to find another pair.

Melodic snippets from recordings of me playing the swar sangam. This wonderful instrument is a combination of the swarmandal and the tampura. 15 harp strings and 4 drone/bass strings. In these recordings i am only using the swarmandal (harp) part. It is tuned to c sharp, but i have dropped the fourth note (f sharp) out of the scale. There are four packs with lots of recordings in them, strums, plucks, short improvisations. "short melodic statements" are 1-2 bars. "riffs" are 2-4 bars. "melodies" are about 30 seconds and "runs and flutters" speaks for itself. There is recording of tuning up the swarmandal in the melodies pack. The snippets were taken from recordings done on three different days so you may notice a slight difference in volume and background noise. A couple of the recordings have some ambient noise (bird tweets, wind chimes,)some of the melodies are based around a similar theme but have enough variation to be interesting/useful. Credit is not required but always appreciated. Linking to the sound allows others to find this amazing website. :-)i love to hear what you have used my sounds for!.

One of my favorite sounds of spring and summer is the beautiful night-hawk. Around dusk they patrol the skies over generally open areas searching for insects. They actually seem to prefer areas where there are man-made structures; that's why you will hear them often in town, especially near baseball/softball fields where the big banks of lights attract their food source. They really do seem fond of and are quite common around towns and cities. Plus, another amazing fact that i read on the cornell ornithology website is that these birds do not build a nest, rather the female simply lays her eggs directly on the ground, and lets camouflage do the rest!. This recording was captured by my h4n using my rode nt4 microphone mounted inside a parabolic dish. Other than simply boosting the level by about 10 db using adobe audition 3. 0, i did no other processing to this file. That is why you hear distant traffic, and the occasional wind through the trees, as this recording was made on a breezy evening. Date of record: thursday may 9th, 2013 between 7:30pm and 8:00pm.

This was recorded during a harsh storm here i stockholm. Harsh winds blowing thru a small forest. Details such as leaves rustling and hard stormy winds are key components in this recording. It sounds like a storm is approaching what do you think?. I honestly don't remember what i did in post. . . I think i removed alot of bass/rumble, added an expander to remove some unwanted noise to help the winds and leaves to stand out. I probably used rx to clean up some unwanted noises. Equipment:zoom h5 + sony ecm 6080s condenser mic. This was a test to see how the stereo configuration on the ecm 6080s sounded like. I really like it but i would prefer an ab configuration with 2 dpa 2011 or even 2 4060. . . I like the sound it was able to capture even if it may be a little to "centered". I probably will try to use it for my future hiking trips to capture rivers and general ambiances, if i get something special i will upload them here. Hope you like it.

This is a recording of me vacuuming my carpet (a short carpet, not sure of the exact name of it), in a small studio apartment in kansas city, ks. It's recorded with the worst mic possible (a generic labtec microphone you can buy at an office supply store for like 10 bucks). I literally have no idea the vacuum brand, as i searched all over it for a whole minute, to no avail. But who cares the brand, because it sounds cool! (it has "120v~60hz 7amps" if that means anything to you) i am mainly vacuuming up kitty litter from the carpet because my cat likes to make sand castles for hours on end and she likes to think "outside the box" as it may. Oh, and there is an obstacle between the mic and the space i'm vacuuming, it's literally a screen room divider. I recorded this just because i thought it would be cool, plus i'm just starting an associates in audio engineering, so i figured i could get experience doing just about anything. Oh, and the end is my favorite part, just because i like listening to the motor click off and wind down. Ummm. . . Yeah, i think that's about it. Enjoy!.
