This sound is recorded directly from one of my original 1938 98cc light motorbikes. This time is a express (manufaturer) sl 102 (type). The noise you hear is all specific. It is the fuel cock on selection, the flooding of the carburettor, suction of the engine, two tries to bring the engine to live with clutch action inbetween. Running on idle and two short openings of the throttle. Engine is shut off by using the decompression lever which is typical for this period of time and two stroke engines. .

1 looping envelope and 2 vclfos in a dance. I think its harder for this combination to find a nice pattern - equilibrium. It happens sometimes. Maybe the mixture between positive and negative cv confuses the modules. Makes it harder. I start the recording with the looping envelope in non looping mode. After about 19 sec i switch to looping-mode. Records and hope that a pattern should emerge. This time there is a pattern. Yay! not 100% stable but that's perfect!okay, it is harder to recognize patterns when a sequencer is involved.

Results from running randomly-generated neural networks (all weights in neuron connections start random and then slowly drift when generating). Although sample rates used are 44. 1 and 48 khz, sounds pretty lo-fi. The reason could be input compression needed for network to actually work. Each sound channel is an output from two separate neurons in the network. Each sample in this pack is generated by a separate network, as they wasn’t saved anywhere after they produce a thing. Global parameters (output compression, neuron count, drift rate etc. ) aren’t the same from sample to sample, too.

Took my edirol 24bit recorder out to the local shopping village a few years back. I went for a walk through the car park and into the shopping center. Really some amazing sounds especially with delay added. I'll add more from this time and experiments if people seem interested. I am a film director, and i have asthma. Here is me, a woman in los angeles, shaking up and using my albuterol inhaler. Entire sequence: shaking it up first (which we all do lol), then exhaling all air from my lungs so i can suck in a good amount of medicine, then depressing the trigger and sucking in. Kudos to toiletroll for uploading his inhaler audio first, but this is the entire asthma inhaler sequence start to finish. No need to credit me. Just use and have fun. Enjoy.

A car engine startup recording with lom (slovakian microphone manufacturers) omnidirectional microphone ("ucho"). If by chance i gain access to stereo diaphragm mikes of good quality, the re-take of this will be of higher quality. I intended to use this for gta sound modding and for general car ignition noises. For anyone curious, this is a second-hand honda accord (2006) saloon's engine revving, the person revving this vehicle is one of my friends starting it up who i asked kindly if i could record it.

A tip from me to you is cut the bassline in pieces, explore all the locations where you can use for start a song. . . Use short parts of the bassline and use stretch and pitch techniques. Just explore and imagines freaky ways of change small samplers to a big and nice bassline! :d.

Another night of hearing that couple next door. You can hear some of the conversations they have, but not really clear in some parts. Note that some parts of their conversations are cut out, but the dirty sounding conversation they have will be kept in. Around 2:50, is the sound of a door shut, that's when they're about to. . . Around 6:20 is when there will be bits of sex noises. Passed 8:25 is when you'll hear the woman start to get loud. Passed 11:00 is when they finished their you know. This is edit and cut short with audacity.

A high quality recording with a solid collection of various snow footstep sounds. There's sounds of slow walking, fast walking, running, jumping and kicking the snow. You should be able to get pretty much all you need for a game or a film in this recording regarding feet and snow. Recorded with a zoom h2 at 96 khz / 24-bit, truncated and saved to flac using audacity. I left some silence n the start if you want to denoise it yourself, but i think it shouldn't be necessary. It was really quiet.

Rode nt4 -> maudio delta1010lt, capturing a lightning strike that made the walls of my house shake, and forced me to turn off my computer. The lightning occured ~167 meters away from the microphone, calculated from the time lapse between the initial dc spike and the start of audible strike. Clipped quite a bit, had the input slightly too high, but did not expect one to hit so close. A picture hanging on my wall shook violently when this one hit. This was captured at the end of session on 5_28_2006, same night as http://freesound. Iua. Upf. Edu/samplesviewsingle. Php?id=19283.

This is a recording of scrap metal collection taken in pilton, edinburgh in august of 2022 at 4:40pm in the afternoon. The first thirty seconds are the sounds of scrap metal being loaded onto the truck (a trampoline if i remember correctly) and some talking. Then you hear the truck start up, and the message through the megaphone "any old scrap metal!" followed by a list of scrap metal items. At this point the truck is slowly driving away. This was recorded with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a zoom h5.

First putting butter on billigs, then spreading and turning the liquid on the billigs, then returning the pancakes with a metalic tool. Then start again all the process two other times. First billig is next to us, billig number nine is 4 meters from us. We can ear his steps, a bird by the window, a car is also crossing the sound field. France, nov2022. Here's some more of that young couple next door. For this one, they probably went 15+ minutes. Their libido must be really high for this day/night. From my listening, it seems like they were not doing it in bed the entire time. They must have used other furniture and played around in different positions. From 3:30 or even before that is when they start. Passed 5:00 is when the woman starts to moan loud. 14:55 is when they finish. 16:07 guy says i'm tired. Note that the original audio had more bed and furniture creak noises, almost 30 mins long, and some of their chats cut out. Also note that some of the noises left in on the good parts may not be sex noises. This was edit and shorten with audacity.

It's a recording of a calcium-sandoz® forte/fuerte 500 mg effervescent tabled falling into a glass of water and dissolving. You can hear the tablet dropping into the water and water droplet hitting water surface back. After w while - co2 buubles start to appear creating noisy sound. The recording has a long natural fadeout and unfortunately some background noise. I leaved "silence" before the sound starts so you can de-noise the recording to your needs (i prefer audacity for denoisig). Recorded inside of my wardrobe for acoustic isolation using zoom h2 on a mic-stand. Recoded as 96khz/24-bit wav. Normalized, truncated and convertet do 16-bit flac using audacity. I've converted this to 16-bit as it still has plenty of noise and 24-bits would not be any better after normalization.

It's me saying some words. I've recorded my speech and then used ardour's (http://ardour. Org) looping funtionality (which have proven to be rock-solid) to perform theese glitches. I used my mouse to select random ranges in the session, then used the "]" key to set tre selected region as a loop range. And also used "l" key to start looping if i accidentaly clicked on the playhead (which makes it stop playing). I also used space bar to break the loop into normal playback. There was a limiter in ardour. Recorded the performace using jack_capture cli program. I cut out some silence using audacity and converted the recording to flac.

Some more of that young sounding couple next door. Got some loud moans on this one. At 0:36 is the sound of a door close. At 0:44 you can hear the woman say "well let's make out, what do you think of this?"they were probably already started you know before it got to 2:00. Those silent parts have a bits of very soft pleasure noises that are hard to hear, but it's there. Passed 7:15 is where you can start to hear some clear sex noises of them, that's where all the good parts begin. Passed 10:00 is where the couple finishes their pleasure. I use a voltage controlled lfo (vclfo) for this experiment. When i send a trigger to the lfo it resets and start over again. In this example i'm using a sinus wave output. I send the output, the sinus wave, to1 - a sample and hold (s/h) module2 - a quantizer3 - straight to vco. The s/h and the quantizer are triggered at the same time. Even an envelope a generated with the same trigger. All three sounds are controlled by this envelope. First out we have s/h (left)second straight to vco (right)third the quantized (center). As usual its fun to take a real close look at the wave!.

This is my own kaiju i made last year, i first start with the concepts. And now getting to the part on the sound on what will it sound like, so i watch any behind the scenes on how any kaijus like godzilla sound where made. So i use wooden chairs i found around my house slowly drag it that makes these noises, after every sound recorded, i go with a empty tuna fish can and after washing it, it makes a interesting sound, so i recorded that as well and mix both of those sounds together which makes this. And yes i'm working on a project that base on this kaiju.

Example 12 from Stockhausen's article "… wie die Zeit vergeht …", illustrating with a version of the series from Gruppen fur drei Orchester that, "if you start from the intervals of a proportion series, then with every step forward the register of each duration is also already chosen" (Stockhausen 1963b, 117). There are "a number of basic durations, indicated in metronome marks and corresponding with the pitch proportions within the series, reaching far as the octave positions (basic duration units)" (Leeuw 2005, 174), or "a duration scale which changes its 'time register' … corresponds to a twelve-tone scale that extends over more than one octave" (Misch 1998, 157–58).

A collection of sounds, recorded at the fast-food parking lot. An uncommonly-warm day in the great north, the window was partway down so there is an outdoor ambient background. Straw is unwrapped and stuffed through the plastic lid of a drink, making its characteristic shriek. Remembering when as kids, four of us would sit around a table before the age of masking, and work the straws in the lids to generate a racket, i did that. This could be used as a cartoon-ish engine start failure, sounds like an old fiat. Then the crunching of a paper bag as a decadent burger is extracted.

Lazer sound. I made this lazer sound with the use of operator in ableton as well as adding a few effects to help round it out. I started with a basic sine wave and then began to adjust the frequency range to cut out some of the low end of the sound and enhance the high end to make it more realistic and movie accurate. I also had to shorten the decay time so it is more of a short zap sound than a prolonged note. Another step was giving it an initial high pitched sound and this was achieved by having the sound start higher up the scale with semitones and then dropping down giving the effect of shooting and something traveling from the source sound.

A recording made in the shawnee national forest in illinois on the very first day of october, 2022. This recording was made at mid-afternoon and features the peaceful, pleasant wind through the deciduous trees. From time to time though, the soft call of a nuthatch or a chickadee reminds us there is still bird life in the early autumn woods. Birds getting ready, getting stocked up for the upcoming northern assaults of cold air this winter. Some crows really start to put on a show towards the end of this stereo recording. The traffic light means that the birds and neighbor's dog start predominant, then are taken over by the rush of traffic as the light changes to green. Brownian noise sounding like a flying plane at 3×10^4 feet above the earth. . . I created that in audacity! final peak amplitude: 0. 75000 (linear) -2. 49877 db. I applied a bunch of filter curves to make this 90 second loop, normalized to 75% volume. I started with 120 seconds, then made it 90 seconds. Estimated start pitch: d2 (75. 000 hz). Because of the 1024 mb limit, i can't upload the 108-minute version (2 channels, 24-bit, 48000 hz costs 1. 74 gib). Sorry. The final sample rate is 48000 hz, 24-bit wav. An internal gas combustion engine starting up, and then cutting grass as it moves across the lawn. The clip is recorded from an elevated vantage point about 25 feet directly above the lawnmower. In the background some lawn debris can be heard hitting the blade and getting tossed. The variable pitch motor slows as it encounters heavier grass. It is the first grass cutting of the season and, being on the west coast, the grass is very thick with moisture enhanced growth. The recording is made with a high quality stereo zoom h1n portable audio recorder. However, the. Mp3 setting was selected during recording to achieve a smaller audio footprint (for another use), melded to a mono channel, then exported to. Wav as the preferred format for this repository.
