Wax cylinder recording of music for the "lela" celebration in Bali, Cameroon. Four flutes and singing. The lela celebration is closely linked to the kingdom and members of the royal family direct the course of the celebrations. The flutes in this recording were played by high dignitaries of the Bali kingdom. Recorded by Bernhard Ankermann in Bali, Cameroon, saved in the Berlin Phonogramm-Archiv.

This is just a simple four to the floor kick drum pattern at 120 bpm. I created the kick itself by layering various synth timbres in rob papen's albino plugin. Processing was also applied such as compression, eq and using subtle distortion in specific frequency areas to get it sounding like this. Recording of a pair of oven mitts being hit together. Might be useful in a game as an inventory sound. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Used audacity's noise removal filter to to remove background noise. For this file, i isolated the samples i liked and left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. Attribution appreciated but not required.
