Recorded during the mass and the procession dedicated to mary, on the 15th of august, in marseille. Voices, songs and prayers in the cathedral and in the street.

Acid bass: 110 bpm c2 note, not your typical saw/square basslines. High sweeping filters in parallel with lfo routed to certin parts sampled in ableton using massive, compression using psp compressor2 and psp warmer. Random presets, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down. Deep and dark sci-fi background noise that could fit a movie space ship, e. G. In the warp drive chamber. The actual sound source is a gas stove that has been recorded using a fostex fr2 recorder and a pair of røde nt5 mics in x/y positioning. The original 24/88. 2 recording has been slowed down 99% using audacity. Some echo added.

Lots of electrical noise. I got this sound using an aux cable from my laptop to a broken 3. 5mm to 5. 25mm adapter to my mixer. Noises were generated by my fingers scrubbing around the laptop's trackpad and clicking keys on the keyboard. Also my air conditioner is generating a constant noise. Every few minutes there is a neat glitchy sound, i'm guessing it's from some data being processed on the laptop. .

The voice of a 101 year old freed american slave.

This sound is based on my voice, child's cry, dog barking and running in leash. Low thump sounds are pencil clicks. All slowed down and mixed together.
