Created using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ). Here i have used zynaddsubfx for the hoover type sound and 3 instances of glitch2 vst on the drum loop that i created. There is some compression, stereo widening and side-chaining used also. ( i used a higher resolution samplerate to export this file, which created a further glitch effect on the glitch2 vst,i believe it is maybe hardcoded to 41000hz or perhaps lmms can't handle higher sample rates on vst plugins ).

An express train of kintetsu railway passes by at rather high speed. Connecting my at835st to a newly purchased edirol r-44. I actually bought it for need of recording four channels of drums sound, but i was completely astonished by its great ability as a field recorder. Wonderful mic preamps, aren't they?.

While making an ambient track simulating a fortune teller's caravan, i designed 3 sounds in pro tools by layering and editing presets within ambience and soft pads. They add a bit of magical flare when the tarot card reader turns over a card. This sound can be used for any kind of transition, item acquisition, quest accomplished, or other quick sound effect which needs a light, magical quality. This is a cc0 sound, based on (at time of download) cc0 parrot ar drone 2. 0 take off, flight and landing. This is a flac file. It is lossless like wav but compressed like ogg/mp3. Use audacity or fre:ac to convert quickly to mp3/wav/ogg.

Clean, dry recording of a smartphone touchscreen being rapidly tapped as if a message was being written on it. Could just as easily be used as sounds from using (writing, playing mobile games, browsing, etc) a tablet or really any relatively small touchscreen device. Tapping speed and length between taps varies throughout the recording, but overall i tried to make it sound as natural as possible while still offering options for more granular placement. A 120hz high-pass filter was applied to remove unnecessarily pronounced bass frequencies.
