This is a recording of a burmese temple plate bell/gong. My parents bought this instrument for me. It comes from the samples i made whilst making the music for the show 'little leap forward' by horse + bamboo theatre company in 2009.

You may don't believe me, but i made this sound from raw roland tr-909 snare sample. You can use it to produce hard and modern breakbeat-style sound.

Sound made by bowing a detuned guitar tied to a clothes hanger. Recorded with two contact microphones. No effects were added, the apparent reverb tails are the waves resonating within both the guitar and the metallic clothes hanger.

Made with mashing a few samples together. Realistically, it should sound like a metal can hitting the ground. But i used it for throwing a can at the ground (before impact), which works too. Please comment where you used it! <3.

A few years ago, while experimenting with the newly release "gross beat" effect plugin, i stumbled over a possible way the "transform" up and "transform" down sounds were designed/made in the mid 80's --the chief mechanic is i believe a "spin" down with a turntable for starters. . . Here is "up".

An assembled loop made out of samples, some of them being from free vsts like adern kickme and dream drums and are further processed using free effect plugins. Other are from free sample packs and are also gently processed to death and beyond.

A 10 min recording made at a beach resort on the fiji coral coast in july 06, recorded on a pd-170 camcorder with 2 sennheiser mkh416 in crossed stereo configuration. Original is 48khz, 16 bit. I have a higher bit rate version if you like this one.

I used my hands to make this sound effect. The action was similar to a dog shaking out, except the character was parasitical worm covered in mushrooms. . . It made for a nice little placeholder effect. Do with it, what you like. Hopefully it helps, when you need the sound of a person brushing a spider from their sweater.

The mysterious echoes of what could only be assumed to be wind produces an overwhelming feeling of loneliness and despair, and an absence of any sort of comfort. As the distant sound reverberates towards your position, only assumptions can be made about it's origin and how truly far away it is.

A strong rainshower hitting an awning, with the gentle "shhhhhh. . . . " of the rain falling on the new, fresh green, pliable leaves of a sugar maple. Some good thunder as well in this recording. I created this sound that look like a rattlesnake sound thanks to a tambourin and cymbal record. I made repeat those two percussion three times. When one is finish an other one start, and this 3 times. I added between them an effect that end the sound and start a new one.

Percussion made in blok modular. Kind of morphs around but plenty of bongos and some kind of shaker towards the end. You can maybe get a couple of claps out of the end part too. Sometimes sounds a little too fm-y (think sega genesis sounds) but others sound pretty organic imo.
