This is a 2 mic recording in a darts bar in tokyo. The first part is a pretty decent recording of the room. But then later the background music gets really loud. Because it's summer time, the air-conditioner is cranked full blast.

A long ambient piece recorded during a california drizzle. You can hear a bike pass and then a handful of cars from street level. The rain is continuous but very light. Nonetheless, the piece is very dense.

This ambience was recorded on zoom h6 with msh-6 mid-side stereo mic capsule. Recording was edited and decoded. Mic was positioned right in a frame of an open window so that it won't get flood from a heavy rain and pick up much room reflections. My flat where i recorded from was on 4th floor. There was a busy street 50m far from the apartment building itself, a bit further there was a park. Rain at that night was heavy. Also you can hear several heavy thunder hits of various distance throughout the whole recording. Hope this recording will help to enhance the sound of your next project. A nightingale in the north of italy at about 10 p. M.

First, i thought it was a night-bird but i could not identify it clearly and i never heard an owl shouting like that. Then i understood why when i found on internet a sample exactly like mine. . . Now i know it was a barking roe deer (capreolus capreolus). "when alarmed, it will bark a sound much like a dog" (wikipedia).

This is a lone cricket recorded around 6pm in mid-november 2011 in my front yard using a rode ntg-2 mic mounted inside a parabolic reflector, recorded onto a zoom h4n.

Spring. Wav and spring2. Wav were recorded on the same evening in may during a long rain. The two recordings are similar but still very different. I've never heard so many frogs/peepers so deafeningly loud, persistent and oblivious to humans. I tried to record where the water was running but the animals drowned out the sound of the water. Beautiful sounds.
