A very summer sound: a large bee buzzing by the microphones. This is a carpenter bee, commonly referred to as a bumblebee in the united states. Recording can stand for most any buzzing insect, though.

A wonderful slice of small town life. Recorded august 27 2022 at a small town baseball game in southern illinois. Not a huge crowd, but you hear the murmur of parents, kids and of course the crack of the steel bat against the baseball. Especially good with headphones on, as i recorded this in stereo. Equipment: zoom f3. Microphones: em clippy 272 omni-directional microphones on microphone stands located 38 inches apart. Enjoy this timeless summer soundscape representing all that is good. Field recording of birds in my neighborhood and backyard on the east coast of the u. S. I believe a cardinal is most prominent here, but i am not an ornithologist so cannot say for certain. Some smaller birds (finches?) also audible. Recorded through an open window of a screened porch with a tascam dr-40x. Noise removal done through audition's default parameters.

This is not layered or multi-tracked; very active birds this morning! actual 2:00 track of singing. Wide variety of birds. Stereo (large diaphragm condenser (scm900) l and dynamic (sm58) r. Cleaned, eq'd and leveled to approximately -24 lufs. Still quite a range of dynamics!.
The sound of many bubbles, either from within a container, or from a heavy liquid. Good for bubbling sounds from within, let's say, a closed pan, or from something like lava!.
