Real audio of the bristol riots from summer of 2011. Please note that there are abusive words included. This was recorded as part of my coverage of the riots, which i later allowed the bbc to use on their news programme. Disclaimer: i was not involved in the rioting and was only present as a bystander in order to record the events.

A gun firing in a crowd of people. Scary.

An example sound for the freesound punching sound design dare. Layering together different sounds to make a punch effect, and including the layers. Sound 1: the complete punch. Sound 2: hitting a pork chopsound 3: punching with a boxing glove onsound 4: billowing a teatowelsound 5: cracking celery (classic). Sound 6: the complete punch again.

A splattering sound i made by quickly crumpling a piece of thin plastic that used to be wrapped around my donut :)it's a very cool effect.

These are some chopsticks being split apart and snapped in half. Sounded kinda fleshy to me as well as wood-y. Recorded on an ntg-3.

Crushing celery with my hands to simulate some level of "bone cracking". Recorded in staten island, ny june 6, 2021 with the on board x-y mic of a zoom h4n pro from the 2nd floor window of an nyc townhouse, facing the backyard and neighboring rooftop.

Simulating "bone breaks" by cracking celery into pieces. The intent is to use these sounds along with "hitting" sounds to create a more dynamic punching sound effect. Although this is cc-0, if you integrate it into a more dynamic effect, i'm curious to hear it. A sound effect i've had sitting around for a while - i think i made it by growling and roaring into a mike and deepening the pitch.
