A recording of me typing on my havit kb390l mechanical keyboard with kailh low profile blue switches in them. The clicky sound is produced by a clickbar inside the keyswitch which produces an audible click on both the down and upstroke, differing from normal mechanical keyboards which tend to only click on the downstroke. Recording taken with my blue yeti nano.

Dialling the number 0 on an old rotary phone. This recording has a slight pause inbetween dialling, and letting go, allowing for more freedom to tweak the timing yourself. Here are some percussive sounds of a thermal mug. I've put hot water in it, shaked it and pressed the valce button to release the pressurized air (that's the first pop). Then opening and closing it again several times. Nice percussive samples to cut out from this. Recorded with zoom h2.

This is what background noise sounds like when you, first set your recording to automatically reduce noise, except to get this sound, put mic on sensitive, then increase the volume. Voila! computer noise!.

Weird old turnstile that i found at this place while i was booming for a movie. Hearty metallic ratcheting and clunking sounds.

This is full sequence of music-box in tea can with screweing up(?) until full stop. It's gift-set of tin box with tea and onboard music box. First i'm winding up music box, put box on the table, then it plays until full stop. This audio recorded with sony mobile communications audio recorder (android) on nexus 4 in pcm wav. Then it was slightly edited with audacity - tiny noise reduction and equalisation (boost frequencies below ~400 hz, lowered frequencies higher than ~2500 hz).

The sound of a hermes baby travel typewriter in action, typing sentences. The paper is initially wound up, then typing begins, then there is the ding at the end of each line. This continues for a few lines before the paper is removed. This was recorded in-person with a tascam dr-40 stereo recorder. Public domain: i have released this audio file into the public domain.
