Made sometime during 2017. Excerpts from my experiments with sinusoidal waves, homemade distortion effects, digital reverb, room reverb, and speaker->mic->pc feedback. Several effect parameters are controlled via an ekg setup called the "infernal gadget" which i constructed between 2010-2011 and used for several improvised music sessions.

This is one of many build ups from my personal effects library. I used a time-stretch,and added a heavy eq over it for an added bass effect. It builds from in fade to original volume with re-verb. Enjoy. .

Sound exercise where we had to choose a location & an object in that specific location. I chose for the sculpture atelier in the academy of bellas artes. Sound source : a non-standard tuned höfner guitar & a lithium-ion battery powered 6 watt speakerwith a cute little aaa battery powered vox pre-amp. Put on a copper plate, live manipulated & processed / bent / tapped on / glided withwhat not /. . . A long metal tube. Natural feedback has been 1 of my favorite modi operandiinfluenced by entre autres my bloody valentine, sonic youthglenn branca & a lot of noise artists. . . Recording source : a f*+#!ng apple iphone ( for which itlasted 30 minutes to put it on an apple imac ?!!?? )i take a shot @ apple for a reason , my mbp during coronahas been seen imploding ! ( dikke poef !!! ) june 2020don’t buy apple, ask louis rossmann ( youtube ). This piece has been recorded in one big long take;until now whatsoever no edits have been madelet’s see if i can make this post-production wisemore ear-candy wise even better. . . The artist known as -̶j̶o̶z̶e̶f̶a̶l̶e̶k̶s̶a̶n̶d̶e̶r̶p̶e̶dr̶o̶-has been seen predicting on his bandcamphe “ll be integrating somehow thisfree improvisational piece into his avant-latest new track called‘ mars in-3 “. . . Sloth (lfo) to vclfo is the "engine". Triggers chain reacting function generators"boom/booiing" trigered "by" logic - nor i thinkjupiter storm is one voicejupiter storm also modulates the other voice that goes through wave rectifyingjerkoff modulates jupiter storm, a trigger goes back to jerkoff and jupiter is modulating it self. . . Start with chaos. In this sound/patch you have the possibility to enjoy chaos and feedbacki use my sloth lfos and jerkoff - another chaos moduleim possible sick i like this - thou its simple. Sloth modulate vco and filter cut of frequencyfeedback from vco to the filter via a vca controlled by a looping envpan fx also controlled by sloth - same env that controls the frequency. The "prassel" rustle sound is great in my earsjerkoff, exp vca, function and another sloth. Evaluation of patch/soundone cycle is - there are many cycles to consideronly short sounds - no, goodamplitude variation - yep goodpitch variation - mediumtimbre variation - some, via filter/two soundsmusical value - i think so!entertaining - yes?!.

Now finally! my two neuron patch idea has a sound. It's like music to a graphic score. My score is this:https://www. Muffwiggler. Com/forum/userpix2/27319_2_neurons_not_so_small_1. Jpg. Maybe both score and its sound is bad. . . But i'm happy :-).

This sound was from a live video feed on a social media broadcast. At some point the audio just got caught into a feedback loop that lasted for a bit. I thought it sounded interesting and saved it. Has kind of a laser or phaser cannon kind of thing going on. Perhaps an alert sound of some sort. Probably many possibilities for usage.

5 min recording. Question. Do you hear any form of repetitiv pattern?the "engine" for this. . . Is a feedback patch. Chaotic? maybe. The colors the soundfile get here on freesound reveals patterns. I use this feedback patch to derive timing and pitch. I restrain the pitch. It's bad enough as it is. The feedback patch is made with 2 lfos, 1 vclfo and a vcad.

The clip was created using a synsonics "terminator" guitar with a built-in amp by running the output to my sound card and sound card's output going into to a secondary jack intended for headphones on the guitar. It created an interesting metallic noise, almost like a ring mod. . . There is a segment where i was poking the guitar's amp circuit board with my fingers which creates lots of grumbling/squelchy noises. . . The guitar is kind of crappy, but it makes a pretty neat noise synth! :b.

Sample is a clip from another song i just recorded. Created with effects pedals feeding back into each other. Effects used: behringer micro-mixer (used here as a "clean boost/volume effect), sirkut electronics gnarler, danelectro eq, boss xtortion, and boss metal zone, with various other fx sprinkled throughout. This is another "sounds kind of like screaming" sample.
