Had a short relaxing session with my modular. I wanted to use the "divide by 64" patch and make some generative sounds/music. I added some mixer feedback. This is a patch for 2 voices.

Sound exercise where we had to choose a location & an object in that specific location. I chose for the sculpture atelier in the academy of bellas artes. Sound source : a non-standard tuned höfner guitar & a lithium-ion battery powered 6 watt speakerwith a cute little aaa battery powered vox pre-amp. Put on a copper plate, live manipulated & processed / bent / tapped on / glided withwhat not /. . . A long metal tube. Natural feedback has been 1 of my favorite modi operandiinfluenced by entre autres my bloody valentine, sonic youthglenn branca & a lot of noise artists. . . Recording source : a f*+#!ng apple iphone ( for which itlasted 30 minutes to put it on an apple imac ?!!?? )i take a shot @ apple for a reason , my mbp during coronahas been seen imploding ! ( dikke poef !!! ) june 2020don’t buy apple, ask louis rossmann ( youtube ). This piece has been recorded in one big long take;until now whatsoever no edits have been madelet’s see if i can make this post-production wisemore ear-candy wise even better. . . The artist known as -̶j̶o̶z̶e̶f̶a̶l̶e̶k̶s̶a̶n̶d̶e̶r̶p̶e̶dr̶o̶-has been seen predicting on his bandcamphe “ll be integrating somehow thisfree improvisational piece into his avant-latest new track called‘ mars in-3 “. . . Made sometime during 2017. Excerpts from my experiments with sinusoidal waves, homemade distortion effects, digital reverb, room reverb, and speaker->mic->pc feedback. Several effect parameters are controlled via an ekg setup called the "infernal gadget" which i constructed between 2010-2011 and used for several improvised music sessions.

This is one of many build ups from my personal effects library. I used a time-stretch,and added a heavy eq over it for an added bass effect. It builds from in fade to original volume with re-verb. Enjoy. .

5 min recording. Question. Do you hear any form of repetitiv pattern?the "engine" for this. . . Is a feedback patch. Chaotic? maybe. The colors the soundfile get here on freesound reveals patterns. I use this feedback patch to derive timing and pitch. I restrain the pitch. It's bad enough as it is. The feedback patch is made with 2 lfos, 1 vclfo and a vcad.

The clip was created using a synsonics "terminator" guitar with a built-in amp by running the output to my sound card and sound card's output going into to a secondary jack intended for headphones on the guitar. It created an interesting metallic noise, almost like a ring mod. . . There is a segment where i was poking the guitar's amp circuit board with my fingers which creates lots of grumbling/squelchy noises. . . The guitar is kind of crappy, but it makes a pretty neat noise synth! :b.

This sound was from a live video feed on a social media broadcast. At some point the audio just got caught into a feedback loop that lasted for a bit. I thought it sounded interesting and saved it. Has kind of a laser or phaser cannon kind of thing going on. Perhaps an alert sound of some sort. Probably many possibilities for usage.

Now finally! my two neuron patch idea has a sound. It's like music to a graphic score. My score is this:https://www. Muffwiggler. Com/forum/userpix2/27319_2_neurons_not_so_small_1. Jpg. Maybe both score and its sound is bad. . . But i'm happy :-).

Start with chaos. In this sound/patch you have the possibility to enjoy chaos and feedbacki use my sloth lfos and jerkoff - another chaos moduleim possible sick i like this - thou its simple. Sloth modulate vco and filter cut of frequencyfeedback from vco to the filter via a vca controlled by a looping envpan fx also controlled by sloth - same env that controls the frequency. The "prassel" rustle sound is great in my earsjerkoff, exp vca, function and another sloth. Evaluation of patch/soundone cycle is - there are many cycles to consideronly short sounds - no, goodamplitude variation - yep goodpitch variation - mediumtimbre variation - some, via filter/two soundsmusical value - i think so!entertaining - yes?!.

I recorded this quick improvisation with my built-in laptop microphone and track monitoring on in reaper, which resulted in it sounding washed-out, warped, and screechy in the high end. At the beginning you hear the distorted wail of a left click initiating the recording. Somebody walks into the living room at the end and we share an exchange. I didn't add any effects or edit this audio in any way, it's just a fun experiment. Let me know if you use this for something!!!!!.

This is a recording i made for one of my songs. I found it nice to run the group's output through the ohmforce ohmicide and have some fun with the separate bands. The original loop consists of me, drumming on my metal kitchen-sink with drum-brushes. The snary accents are the brushes on the back of my acoustic guitar. All recorded with a neumann u87 and mangled through a ua solo610 with tube-gain cranked up. The bassdrumsound is also an handplayed sound from my nord lead. All recorded in 48/16.

Sample is a clip from another song i just recorded. Created with effects pedals feeding back into each other. Effects used: behringer micro-mixer (used here as a "clean boost/volume effect), sirkut electronics gnarler, danelectro eq, boss xtortion, and boss metal zone, with various other fx sprinkled throughout. This is another "sounds kind of like screaming" sample.
