These two woke me at about midnight, couldn't find my recorder at first but managed to slip it under the door and get this.

I made this to create sounds of bats (with lots of editing), but it rather sounds like hitting a pig (the first part). I'm curious what you will manage to use it for :).

Bass speaker plugged to a pc that manages to capture the static produced by an lcd monitor. Noise varies according to what is shown in the screen.

A cat eating a mouse indoors. Managed to record this from a distance of 10 centimeters from a cat´s mouth. Little bit of traffic noise from open window in the backround.

A couple of buskers in melbourne playing the vibraphone and trombone. Managed to record one whole song but they were in a distance. People walking past. A little wind but hopefully bearable :). Recorded with olympus ls-10.

The recording isn't exactly 100% clean of ambient noises (i believe there's a door slam somewhere). But i manage to remove a couple of the more distracting noises.

I heard these owls outside my window this evening. I live next to a large field and it attracts birds of prey frequently. I managed to capture them conversing back and forth. Unfortunately, the neighbors dog had to chime in. But, even that sounds kind of neat with the natural reverb of the open space.

The sound of mexico. A tortilla machine can be heared in every village prior lunchtime. The machine creates flat tortillas out of nixtamalized corn meal which are then baked using gas within the same machine. The metal conveyor causes most of the sound. Some foot steps in a concrete corridor. I tried to reduce the noise a bit,but i couldn't manage to remove it completely without losing too much of the quality. Feel free to use it for whatever you want. No credits needed!. Recording equipment: zoom h4n.

This is a recording of buttsbury wash, which goes across a small road in essex, uk. At about 1:15 a car can be heard going through the water. The water is quite deep and the car stalled after it got to the other side, though managed to restart. The recording was made with a sennheiser m6/k6 attached to a zoom h5. Minimal editing with audacity.

This is a noise i made myself with my mouth and an h4n and slowing it down to 80%. I was looking for the sound of a sheep eating, and believe it or not, i did manage to find one here. Damn, i love this place--you guys are the best!! still, it wasn't quite as graphic (or over the top) as i needed so i made this one. Enjoy.

No credits needed! use it however you like!. I felt like sharing this snare drum sample i managed to create in about 20 minutes using a random drum sample, noise generators, and a little synthesizer with some heavy processing going on. It's very punchy and probably very usable, too.

Free to use without any credits!. It should sound professional enough. It took a little while of analyzing what the snares had in those tracks, and i managed to pull this off after a while. I hope you appreciate my small effort for this day :). Have fun with it.

Device: zoom h5 (x-y stereo input)48khz 16-bit. I locked my cat outside and he's begging me to open the door. Rarely can i manage to record the sound from a cat in such strong emotion, so i rolled the recorder for 1 minute with guilt. I gave my cat a fish can afterward, so don't feel sorry when you use the sound.
