Qrm listened in am mode on 80 m band in my qth jn79ek. If i use cw mode listening and narrow filter, the qrm is mostly worse. Strength: peaks s9+40 db. Sometimes any traffic impossible. From -41st sec. Of record is possible to heard my tuning around frequency.

This is my new rotary-valved cornet with german valves and a 1913 holton bell all plated in gold and white rhodium. The sample was recorded in a large church in north carolina. With the help of bill jones i designed this horn and dr. Jones built it. It starts loud at a forte but then plays some quieter phrases around a mezzo piano.

Sweeping beans scattered on the floor onto a plastic dustpan. You can hear the sweeping and then how the beans hit the plastic. It can work for other small objects being swept, like beads, seeds and such. It also kind of sounds like small pieces of wood or plastic rolling around a plastic container.

The beginning of a thunderstorm, from normality to first drops of rain, with approaching thunder, and eventually a full downpour. 1. There are birds picking at seeds on a nearby rooftop, which can be heard before the rain. 2. The birds flutter away just before the rain. 3. The rain starts around the 10 minute mark. 4. Full downpour starts around the 12:11 mark. Recorded on june 08, 2021 from the second floor window of an nyc apartment building, facing the inner-bay. Edited on june 12, 2021 to combine a string of takes, remove construction noise, and noise from within the apartment. This is a recording of a church bell ringing before the evening service. Bell is playing a slightly flat b3 (around 240hz) with nice harmonics (very loud at d4). I was recording it on my laptop from the yard behind the church using two shure ksm32 large condenser mics and a rme fireface uc. Hpf at 60hz, no postprocessing.

Recorded radio signal using software defined radio (sdr) around 450 mhz. The sound is the result of demodulating a larger signal using cw-l mode in gqrx and skipping through the band with the signal. Therefore this sound has no real meaning it's just a part of a larger signal.

It's the 80s and i'm about half-way through making a punk/new wave party mix tape when my turntable starts repeating itself. Unwilling to to back and re-record the mix, i batted the needle around on the record for half a second and stopped the tape. This is the part that isn't recognizable as "hey, st. Peter!".

I recorded this for a pinball game i worked on. It's a sound of a marble dropping onto a table and then rolling around for a bit, finishing in the marble dropping into a hole (falling onto the carpet). It's meant to simulate the sound of a pinball being put into play on a pinball table. Enjoy!.

This recording is honestly more amusing than good. I was walking on a trail at victoria bryant park when i found a part that was flooded. I tried to go around it, and accidentally stepped in some mud. So i took a minute to record myself walking in it.

This is a narrated soundwalk in which i walked around the ucla royce quad and narrated the sounds that i heard. Although the sounds are very quiet, the narration should describe them thoroughly. I started by walking away from the main fountain, and into the main area in front of royce hall. By the end of the recording, i was at the front doors of royce hall.

Something i accidentally got while messing around with voxal voice changer by nch software. It was a background noise of my mom closing a door, and i decided to put it in reverse and i couldn't help but notice that it sounded like a low "whoosh" transition. So i opened it in wavepad and added echo + reverb and voila.
