One or more sports cars can be heard tearing down the freeway at the intersection of the i-405 and the i-10. Several police cars are en route chasing after the speeding car(s). Recorded from a rooftop from a block or two away. The whole scene gradually fades away.

Morning near a little village you hear first birdsong by tits a green woodpecker laughing an d another woodpecker drumming, a dog ist barking far away. . .

The forest that these birds sang in, is now gone. People decided to blast it away in favor of unappealing buildings. . . And it's almost too heart breaking for me to listen to. I loved that little green spot.

Recording of a single cricket which found its way into the bottom of a stairwell. The surrounding walls are cemented giving a prominent reverb. The recorder (zoom h2) was placed about six inches away from the cricket.

Was playing with my modular. I had to rush away from the synth. By accident i happened to record 22 minutes. I give you 5 minutes of that accidental recording.

Sound of a pickup truck. Keys jingle, door shuts, starter click, engine turns over and sits idle, tires roll over gravel slowly, then truck drives away. Normalization applied.

Fireworks recorded with mkh50+mkh30 ms stereo couple in sound devices 664 during shooting in birobidjan, russian federation. Recorded on the 4th floor of a building facing other buildings 50 meters in front and on the left in a residential area. Nice acoustics from that specific tall housing configuration.

Wind recorded at the end of 2016 in canary islands. Strong wind (thanks to the mountain), but it was recorded on the other side of a house and it wasn't that strong in that moment. An earthquake that ripples through from far away and then makes the roof of a house crack and cave in. Used audacity to manipulate a couple different sounds to create the rumble of the earthquake. Then i added the cracking noise in the same program from a different effect (wood breaking).
