As with my other sounds, i prefer quality over quantity. Here is another sound file that i developed over a couple of days. Similar to ss's pulse cannons, this one features a military battle featuring tanks, helicopters, jets, and strafing runs using high caliber chainguns. A horn sound signaling danger approaching. Gradually increasing, it's basically saying, "oh crap, what is that?" originally recorded on a zoom h2, it's a sound of me humming. In the onset, the listener stands on a windy heath, and hears the air-raid sirens in the distance. Recorded with the mic on the rear bumper of a 1974 mgb sportscar. Start, drive off, up through gears, steady state, and shut-off. Very throaty period correct exhaust note appropriate for british sports cars from the 30's through 80's. Recorded outside of car so would work best for driving follow shots, drive by's, or car entering/leaving a scene. Think of a fighter pilot driving up in his mg car to the airfield in battle of britain; yeah, that kind of scene!.

I decided to experiment with a metal slinky, with the intention of creating some science-fiction sounds. Here is a string out of what could potentially be used as "laser gun shots". There are a variety of individual shots, and at the latter-half of the clip i attempted to create a cross-fire gun fight. Made from taking two large atx (the form factor, the chassis) computer panels (that i havent used in quite some time), rubbing the entirety of them together quite brashly (one is on the ground), keeping the recorder on xy setup in my other hand in unison then dropping them onto each other. Inside of reaper, i begin changing the rate and pitching them down and applied saturation, distortion and reverberation gave them a very clean effect of a decrepit gate shutting down. Good for trapping your enemies in a battle to the death for which the title is inspired from; one of those tension moments a person in a film/game finds themselves in.

This is the ambience i created for my sci-fi sitcom accidentally reckless of a dropship of some kind approaching a battlefield (and certain death). The bare bones was created from a field recording of the x-1 bus going down attercliffe road towards sheffield city centre, during a period in 2017 when they were constantly resurfacing the stretch that goes past the swingers club, resulting in the bone shaking rattling sounds you can hear. I then layered on some laser and rocket noises (already uploaded) and some engine type sound effects and shuttle flypast effects that i don't think i've uploaded yet.
