I recorded this with my yamaha pocketrak at the paramount theater in seattle on feb. 29th, 2016 with one track duplication. This is the applause for stewart copeland and the seattle rock orchestra. Copeland scored the music for the silent version of 'ben hur' and the show was great as you can hear from the final applause. I tried my best to fade in/fade out the clip and eliminate for background noise. Recorded on iphone 6splus microphone. Edited with audacity. #monopreme #podcast23 free forever and a day. My phone ringing, me pressing the talk button, me yelling, me hanging up, and then me yelling again. This was made a long time ago. I think i had just put together some sounds i recorded for no reason in order to get this. Sorry about the poor quality. At the time i didn't have a good microphone.

A recreation of the sound effect made when a communicator beeps. This is not the same as the "chirp" made when the communicator is flipped open, but the "ringtone. ". A simple sine wave at the appropriate frequency, beeped twice.

Night calling/begging voice of juvenile european long-eared owl (hun:erdei fülesbagoly; lat:asio otus). It was almost as big as it's parent but sill was begging some weeks later nighly. :).

The caws were recorded with a usb-stick mic, but i forget the particulars of exactly when and where i was. There are many variations to the call of crows, both singularly and in unison. I captured just a few of the individual variety.

The friday call to prayer in the old city of jerusalem recorded from the mount of olives. I only had a cheap digital audio recorder with me and processed the file using audition noise reduction tools. For uploading the file was compressed using quicktime. It's attenuated but i kind of like it.
