Sitting in a grassy lunch area outside a business's parking lot. Birds are chirping in the trees and ambient outdoor noise (air, breeze, distant geese, far off freeway traffic) sounds throughout. A red-winged blackbird calls around 36 seconds in.

It's a musical lamp i registered at a friend's house two years ago. It seems to be a headlamp, but i'm not quite sure anymore. As you guessed, it plays beethoven's song called "für elise".

I recorded this at 5 am after not uploading anything to freesound in like 3 years.

I put this recording through a 'pitch looper' a program called cecilia, really cool program if you want to produce something similiar. The original recording i've also uploaded separately was taken with a rode nt4 mic and with a didge of mine in the key of b from northern queensland (kuranda).

Recording made at 11:30 at night on the edge of a pond near a deep forest. . . . Of course the spring peepers are chorusing, but then, from farther away, but definately still audible, some coyotes start calling out. Wonderful night-ambience. Enjoy.

Recording of (what in my believe is) a small frog call. Denoised version (cricket removal) of my frog02 recording. The source was hidden in wet grass near of a river, surrounded by crickets. First and last beats have been cropped so it can be played in continuous loop.

A field recording from winchelsea beach from 17-06-2019. . Recorded late in the evening, around 8pm. There is mostly wave noises and general ambience with some seagull calls in the background. Recorded on zoom h4n pro with rycote wind baffle.

This is the first sound in a new pack called "in reality". This new pack was made to showcase the sounds made for stuff like music loops before they are distorted. This one is the original recording (with most static removed) of ceramic_crash. I simply hit a small ceramic bowl with a teaspoon 2 times.

I created this piece by using the squidfont orchestral soundfont and a program called musescore. You can use this music for any kind of sad part of a movie, a romantic scene, when you're going to heaven, etc.

I used a plug-in called harmor on fl studio 11 and i messed around with highpass and lowpass filters with a very wide resonance. Of corse you can use this ''thing'' for whatever you want because it's totally unoriginal and easy to make.

This is my first noise i've ever uploaded, so any tips to improve this or any future sounds are welcome. The original sound came from a subway car screeching to a halt and it was edited with audacity and adobe premiere. Enjoy!.

Part 2 of 3, swooshes. While on skype, someone i was calling left the mic on while he packed for a trip. A transmission error caused a unique distortion effect while he was moving gear and typing. These are the swooshes, normally made from dragging objects or sustained rustling. . . I think.

I recording made near some woods of the wind ebbing and flowing on an unusually mild day in late november of 2013. What i find unique about this recording is a lone cricket calling out at various times of this recording. . . Makes for a nice, almost melancholy feeling. It is almost like the cricket is not quite ready to hide away for the winter and is taking advantage of a rare 70-degree november day to call out as if to say "hey, i'm still here, waiting. . . In the grass. ". With headphones on, works wonders in clearing your head. . . Recording made at 6:30 at night with my handy / zoom h4 n recorder using the internal microphones, and of course using a very very stout wind screen. Enjoy.

The pretty, soothing, trilling song of the pine warbler. These callings were recorded on sunday march 30th 2014 in a small pine grove, in the middle of a larger forest. On the day i recorded this, the weather was perfectly sunny, and mild -- temps about 60 degrees -- with very little wind. When i first heard this song, i was instantly reminded of a sewing machine. Enjoy. Recording made with my zoom h4-n field recorder, using a rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone placed on a tripod, about 3 feet above the forest floor. To make sure i got a decent level on this soft call, i did have to crank up the recording volume to about 85 on the scale of 100.

If you have a recording device on your person, you get a lot of stuff you'd otherwise miss altogether. This rig helps me get those things too ephemeral to capture with a stereo pair; sounds i would regret not having at all. I keep it on my belt 90% of the time. Just in case.
