Please excuse the naming convention. It is for a university project that i had to begin with my student number. This is a sound effect of a ceiling fan's switch being pulled on and off.

Same as yesterday, but i've added the sound when the huge vehicle extends its two enormous landing gears. For getting the feeling of megapower when whole village shakes you need a speaker system that can generate at least 100 watts at as low as 10 hz. I have a 800 watt sub which i can only use when cats and wife aren't in the house.

These were recorded may 26 2007, about two weeks after the first spring peepers (pseudacris crucifer) were heard in the area. A dog in a distant garden can be heard barking a couple of times in this recording, but if anyone needs a clean recording i can probably find another, similar-length section of the original without extraneous sound. Or it could probably be edited out without too much trouble.

There was some sort of running event going on, so you can hear the footsteps of lots of runners and the crowds cheering them on. This is the sound of the broken fan at the bathroom in my friends house. It sounds a lot like a cricket, but i can assure you it’s a machine- once again this was straight off my phone so sorry if the quality is pretty bad. I hope this can still be of use to you. You don’t need permission but i would like to know if anyone does use it, just for the sake of curiousity :).

This is an a gathering of college students having a backyard get together with a bean bag toss (cornhole) as the primary entertainment. Male and female voices, profanity, and the sound of bean bags landing on the boards. Urban city setting, so occasional motorcycles and trucks can be heard passing, birds and squirrels chirping, dogs barking, kids wailing, and occasionally you can hear a radio playing.

I recorded this with my yamaha pocketrak at the paramount theater in seattle on feb. 29th, 2016 with one track duplication. This is the applause for stewart copeland and the seattle rock orchestra. Copeland scored the music for the silent version of 'ben hur' and the show was great as you can hear from the final applause. Coming hair: you can hear the typical crunch of tangled hair being combed out. You can hear the hairbrush gliding through the hair. It varies in tempo and rhythm to add realism to this sound. As she struggles with the knots it is slow but picks up tempo as her hair becomes less tangled. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg in a recording studio. Great for any make-over montage or scene.
