Three variations on a short choral "aah" 1. Dry. 2. With reverb. 3. With organ and reverb. Upon refelection, i reckon should've hit this a simple a#3. :(. Resynthesis achieved with imageline morphine additive vsti synth. The morphine spectrum was multilayered, fattened by adding flchorus, flreverb2 and soundgoodizer. Flstudio equo and fruity parametric eq2 used as notch filters to eliminate ringing.

A live recording of a 100+ choir in rehearsal. Recorded using a matched pair of rode nt5 for the left & right with an additional akg c451 for the centre. The idea of this recording was to capture the way a choirs sound fills a room. Some minor addtional eq has been used in the 35khz range boosting by 1db to give the performance a little oompf.

Here, the opening chorus is in 12/8 time, which is almost always associated with a peaceful, pastoral mood. The chorale is sung in long note values by the soprano accompanied by the lower voices of the chorus in densely textured imitation, and which takes up the serenely elegiac movement of the instrumental ritornello theme.
