A very short walk along a river passing through the city of drammen in norway. Ducks, pigeons, seagulls and crows made various sounds and cars passing on a highway bridge could be heard clearly when they passed a joint on the bridge.
Recorder placed right next to the fast flowing river. Distant main road traffic can easily be heard as can a few birds. Recorded on a zoom h5 using the internal capsules.

A group of schoolchildren passes some distance away at the beginning, some light construction work is going on in the midrange, and in the far range the busy city noises of london can be heard. The recorder is in the center of the courtyard facing into the complex. Recorded with a zoom h2n and matrixed to 5. 1 surround.
Night-time wide angle stereo recording of manhattan, as heard from across the east river, the recorder was kindly allowed access to the veranda of the riverview restaurant & lounge in long island city and is facing the manhattan skyline. Some noises of the restaurant can be heard in the background, very subdued, the quiet lapping of the east river can be heard in the foreground, and manhattan bustle and traffic on the fdr drive is in the wide range. Recorded in march 2012 with a zoom h2, mics set to 90° dispersion.

We got in the van and drove down a rural road in arkansas, united states. On the side of that road, we found whittington creek.
