6-minute clip of a thunderstorm with sweeping rainfall in the grass and trees of my back yard in northern colorado. Sounds of annoyed crows and grackles can be heard periodically in the distance, and the ambient sound of water through the gutters and downspouts is also prevalent. 4ch-surround field-recording of an old watermill in the village of gollmitz in brandenburg/germany. This clip is the rear channels, mic'd at close range near the edge of the waterwheel, the sluicing sound of water falling out of the wheel is clearly discernible. Recording conducted with a zoom h2, mics set to 120° dispersion.

Late winter snow storm last night in the detroit area 3-3-23 around 9pm est. Was attempting to record thundersnow but by the time i found my batteries the thunder and lightning stopped. Threw my zoom h1n under a plastic cloths basket just incase the thunder started back up, but no luck. This is a short clip of the original hour long recording. You'll hear, sleet, snow & wind.

This clip is a short walk from a walking path heading out to shollenberger wetlands in petaluma, ca. The path is a short diversion into a small wooded area leading to a creek that was rushing pretty heavily due to a recent rainfall. There is a small waterfall making rushing sounds in the creek where the recording ends. The person steps on a log, and breaks a twig on the way to the water's edge.

Assymetric ticking noise. Sounds like the ticking of an analogue counter. A single clock tick was placed on two seperate tracks in order to control the time interval between ticks. One of the tracks was pitch shifted to create the sound of two, slightly different ticks. Both tracks pass through a tight chorus filter and a delay tap to recreate a slight sense of springiness and rattle as the "counter wheels" tick over. Created in flstudio with one audio clip, fruitydelay2, fruity fastdist, fruity parametric eq 2, fruity chorus and equo.

This is a small clip which i made playing the original video on my laptop and recording it on my cell phone. There is a noise machine on and a voice distortion tool being used and foreground dialog as well. It's the whispered dialog that is crucial in my quest for justice. The clip was created using a synsonics "terminator" guitar with a built-in amp by running the output to my sound card and sound card's output going into to a secondary jack intended for headphones on the guitar. It created an interesting metallic noise, almost like a ring mod. . . There is a segment where i was poking the guitar's amp circuit board with my fingers which creates lots of grumbling/squelchy noises. . . The guitar is kind of crappy, but it makes a pretty neat noise synth! :b.

This jump scare sound was created by playing 2 dissonant chords on a single coil telecaster mic'd up w/ a vox ac 10 amp. The two guitar tracks are panned left and right- reverb and delay are added. Additionally, frequency enhancers were added between 4khz - 6khz which adds a higher tonal energy in the upper range of the guitar. Gain is added which can be heard as signal noise mostly at the end of the clip. Enjoy. Bainmack.

I took a few one-shot samples from a bunch of free packs i downloaded off the net (legally), i gave the kick some subtle crunchy distortion in the high end whilst trying to retain it's core sound and it's punch, i altered the transients and the pitch of the samples to make them pop more and sound more to the point and i placed a coloring compressor on the master to give it a bit more overal volume raise without causing it to clip in a bad way.

I recorded this to use as a sound effect in a play called "pentecost". The sounds i recorded were made by a college class in a theatre. I used a crown sass to make this recording. Here it is mixed with a sound clip from syna-max called war with other sounds as well to create the finished effect for the part of the play where the painting explodes. I also have just the crowd noise on here. After that the police jumed through the wall and started shooting people and i played a sound by matt_g called m240.

I was playing around with my sampler fx today and decided to rig up my electric guitar. I use a fender american special stratocaster, hooked up to an akai s2000 sampler with on-board fx - distortion and guitar metal applied in real time, the signal then sent through to amplitube fx rack on my computer with vintage crunch setting. This is a strum of the lower e open. I recorded a number of stabs and thought this clip might come in useful.

This is a quick minecraft note block loop (drums only) that i made in multitrack daw mobile (i don't know how i did it in that app, it's so hard to use) with original sounds from the game. Tokyo outdoor night ambience. This is a recording of the shinagawa area of tokyo after 1:00 am. Crickets can be heard chirping in the distance, as can cars on a usually busy road. The trainstation is closed, but there is still some activity that can be heard as well as wind and other night ambient sounds. Recording was made on the 6th floor of a highrise apartment behind shinagawa station. 2 mics placed at a 120 degree angle were used. No filtering was used. The only editing done was removal of the beginning and end of this clip.

Soothing lake waves rolling onto beach with a bird call 3/4 through the clip. Not sure of the bird but it was grey and the size of a grey jay/whiskey jack/camp robber but a different spices as it had a black and white saddle on its back and a different head than a grey jay. I was not fast enough to get a photo of the bird. The sound was captured by a rode videomic on a cannon vixia hg20. I broke the sound out with corel videostudio pro 8 and saved the file. I recorded the file 2017-11-18 at paul lake, bc canada.

In my quest for that perfect sound that i'm looking for, i ended with something that doesn't quite fit the bill. Never the less, i think it has potential in the right hands. One thing i would like to point out is a single glitch at about 1. 907. I spent a couple of hours trying to figure it out. It may be a non-issue to someone that hasn't obsessed over it before, during, and after dinner. Use it and abuse it if it fits your needs.
