Sirens are not police but are from bikes in the motorcade. The left channel is the chassis and the right is the engine block. . . Blending the two together produces a great sound. Free to use.

Stage four 09. 600 ms. Then the engine shuts down starting at 12. 000 ms. To change "gears" set position to the stage start then play. To "run" in each stage loop from start time +. 144 to stage end time(next stage start time) -. 083. You may have to figit the numbers. I haven't actually tested any of this. I don't really program any more. But, in theory it should work.

This is a clip of various engine sounds recorded on my 2003 subaru impreza wrx with a 3" turbo-back exhaust system. The audio starts with the engine at idle and includes a few engine revs at different rpms. You can hear some turbo whistling and also some rattling of god-knows-what parts. It's a little muffled (kind of a muddy sound), but could be used as part of an action sequence or with a music track laid over. Field recordings extracted from videos i took while travelling on a vaporetto (small public transport canal boat) along the grand canal. You can hear the water, the engine revving as the boat criss-crosses the canal from one stop to the next and the(mostly english)chatter of other passengers on the boat. On "venice2" horns are blown by other vessels and someone says at the end "i'm getting off the boat". I have joined 2 tracks on this one and there is a small gap, but with the right equipment that can be edited out. All in all very evocative of the busy atmosphere in venice, even in march (2012).
