I needed the sound of a busy pub that was noisy enough that people were shouting to each other. This was recorded in a busy cambridge pub, uk, on a cold saturday night in january.

Horse grazing in pen. Metal fence tinging in the wind. A bit of extraneous wind noise here and there, but largely clean enough to eq out the rough stuff. Summer farm ambiance. A couple of good snorts at the end.

After an august rain, there was enough water rushing downhill toward a golf course that it may be a bit hard to tell it's water. It might be softened up by reducing volume and used as a background. Some birds are audible. Coudburst, yes.

I recorded this in my backyard at dusk in july of 2010. As night falls, the cicadas start up, the birds die off, and you can hear owls if you listen closely enough. Also a few sounds of traffic and briefly can hear the neighbor kids.

It's pretty decent beat, synth beat too, used just some generic sources to make this, you can loop it too, so that's nice. (i had to add more detail to this description because of the mods, i hope this is enough description to get this sound uploaded).

General rubbing sounds i made by messing around with a facemask, unedited all in one big file with enough space to adequately edit them. Could be used for bandages, general rubbing. Just get creative with it. Feel free to use anywhere. I dont mind, just thought i'd be useful.

A modest sized crowd of people in a fairly good mood speaking in american english in a an old building. The room is chamberous enough to create some short reverb, although the walls and floors are wood and there is some carpeting to reduce the effect.

Recording of pond sounds in april. There are multiple creatures making sounds here - however, it is not purely nature sounds - there is a highway about a mile away and some of that drone is evident in the background. Raw unedited recording of harsh metallic tinking sounds caused by a hot metal plate being hit by water droplets. The plate was hot enough to induce a leidenfrost effect preventing most of the water from boiling and sizzling away leaving mostly the impact sounds.

My original recording was made at the highest bit rate allowable on my machine -- 98khz.

Here is a gas meter on a restaurant. I managed to get a chunk without much background noise here but i do change the mic position part way through the recording. . A mixer truck, freshly loaded is mixing (extremely dry) concrete in the drum as it spins on the frame of the truck! i held the mic to the exterior of the steel drum as it spun. So there are underlying cat engine noises in the background. The concrete is so dry, its load enough to over power the majority of engine sounds.

This was recorded at a wedding and celebration party afterward. Several hundred people talking in a very large room. It should be random enough to be used for most any situation where one needs ambient crowd noise. This was recorded directly from the on board mic of a full hd camera that uses acvhd.
