993 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Find"

My swiss army knife of sounds: i recorded myself falling over a plastic stool for an episode of our comedy podcast, mission: rejected. It was supposed to be a one-time sound, where a clumsy analyst named stuart gilligan trips while getting out of his chair. I've used this sound two dozen times since, for fights, trips, tearing pictures off walls, throwing people out of windows, and plenty of others. I can't explain why this sound amuses me so much, but i hope others can find use and amusement in it as well.

This is the sound of the short part of guitar strings plucked over the headstock, between the nut and tuning pegs. They do not make for any particular sounds, harmonies or melodies, just random tones which may be used for some sound design, noises, jingles etc. I recorded this for my own purposes (game sfx) with 3 different guitars (see the other 2 files as well) and thought i would share it with anyone who may find it useful - if you do, please help yourself and enjoy! ;).

This is a loop created using fm8, serum and battery. Not completely sure what genre to class this sloop as but gone for electro. It's a recording of audience applauding during a gig. You can hear around 50 people clapping their hands, sometimes shouting. There is also sometimes a piece of music or the vocalist's speech audible. I tried to eliminate any music, without badly trimming the sound. I used some fade-ins and fade-outs here and there. The sound was recorded with a zoom h2's rear stereo mics, originally 48000hz/24-bit wav. Edited and converted to flac using audacity. I hope you'll enjoy this sound and find it usefull.

A pistol being dry fired once. I created this sound back in 2019 using multiple recordings of an airsoft browning hi-power replica that i mixed together until it turned into this early 00s video game-y type clicky dry fire sound. Imho, it's not up to my current personal sound design standards, but i've decided to upload it regardless because maybe someone else can find a use for it. 1 looping envelope and 2 vclfos in a dance. I think its harder for this combination to find a nice pattern - equilibrium. It happens sometimes. Maybe the mixture between positive and negative cv confuses the modules. Makes it harder. I start the recording with the looping envelope in non looping mode. After about 19 sec i switch to looping-mode. Records and hope that a pattern should emerge. This time there is a pattern. Yay! not 100% stable but that's perfect!okay, it is harder to recognize patterns when a sequencer is involved.

This is audio i recorded of my husband using his ten year old decrepit constant positive air pressure sleeping machine. I was trying to convince him that he needed a new one. The variety of sounds he and it managed to make is extraordinary. The intermittent beeping is the machine's warning sound. When i played it for him he cried laughing. I hope you find it useful for something. You'll be please to know his new machine is whisper quiet.

Needed different sounds of men crying in pain. Didn´t found the right expressions of pain here on freesound. So recorded a set of different noises, grunts and crys. Made some fast mixes - but you can take all the originals and do your own creative combination. But for the stressed and lazy ones - you can use the fast mixes :-) i just cleaned them up. I thought i had a diy contact mic somewhere, but i did not find it. But i found another thing. A contact mic for an instrument tuner. But (again) it had a 1/4 inch mono plug. That meant i could not connect it to my computer mic in. But (i know) what if i plug it in to my modular synth. Surprise. . . Then i could add a little filter, pan and spring reverb. So clamped the mic on to my external 3,5 inch disc drive and recorded. This is my submission to dare 51.

It annoyed me i couldn't find this atmosphere anywhere here, so i decided to build this for you: remember the classic "thunder rolls then a wolf howls" sound bed used on so many kids' shows back in the 1970's? well, here you go! this is uses the classic thunderclap by a freesound user whose name i can't remember but will ad when i do remember, some more classic moaning wind by me, a retro wolf howl performed by yours truly with added reverb on top. I'm doing some ww1 commemorative stuff and couldn't find any marching on freesound. So here's my effort: 25s of medium pace marching on gravel, made from a few freesound samples mixed and retimed to match the pace. It's a very bright, close-mic sound, with wide stereo spread. It should loop seamlessly. So this is a composite made from:60076__sinatra314__footsteps-in-gravel-loop109487__tomlija__11-footsteps-on-the-gravel213307__taira-komori__walking-on-the-earth. I've retimed them all to be roughly in synch, added a multitap delay to boost the numbers of feet and some eq to give more of an impression of space.

Jemaa el-fnaa is one of the biggest squares in africa, and is one of the most vibrant places i have ever visited. Each time of day brings a very different energy, and one will find snake charmers, musicians, dancers and stands selling pretty anything you could think of. Although busy during the day, jemaa el-fna is swarmed with people at night and can quickly become overwhelming. This recording is from february, 2020, using a tascam dr-05x.

I recorded the sound of my wooden, squeaky screen door opening and then bouncing shut with a couple bangs. You can hear the squeak of the hinges as the door is opened, then again as it starts to close. The stretching and retraction of the spring is slightly noticeable. The door bounces a couple times as it closes, and you can also hear the latch rattling at this time. Recorded with audacity on my computer using a cheap, hand-held piezo mic.
