My first posted sound effect, this is something made on my synthesizer for fun this morning that i think people could get use out of for horror videos and such, as the sound kind of reminds me of a spider or some kind of creature not unlike one scuttling across a wooden floor.

I'm trying to configure a simple techno rack in vcv-rack. Only free stuff. This is the first test recording. Hmmmm a sampler would bee nice to have in the rack.

I recorded myself singing in the tunnel that connects the buildings on the minnesota state capitol complex. This is the first measure of music in the kyrie mass in g minor, which is usually sang by a chorus in a cathedral environment. The tunnel makes it sound exactly like i'm singing in a church.

Short arpeggiated synth loop. The instrument used is u-he's repro-one synthesiser which is a digital model of the sequential circuits pro one. The first part of the loop features a slow filter modulation. The second part of the loop features the built-in wavefolder distortion built in to the synthesiser.

Did this punching a shirt 4 times, and then rubbing the shirt with another 4 times. I found it great for torso and leg hits(first 4), and great for de-grappling moves and push aways(last 4).

I just squeezed a rubber bath toy mermaid and lowered the speed. The last voop the duplicated whoosh sound after the first voop but amplified and higher pitch. So yeah. It kind of sounds like a laser being shot or something.

First test of my new nt1-a's. Steinberg c1 usb pre amp, recorded on phonecalm ocean, rocky shore. Sounds of, sloshing water, masked plovers, and other birds, a dog, some creaking of anchored boats. I throw some rocks into the water, at the end.

This is the 218-locomotiv. You can hear how its connected to a train, then 2 engines are started afterwards. The first engine is quite cold. Recorded with sony mz710 minidisk recorder and a sony ecm907 microphone.

Running up stairs - maybe a low shelf here and there will help - definitely a usable recording - nice feel - on a personal note i was very tired at the top - it was 5 flights - tho bad mic handling (removed) on the first few flights.

I recorded the last part of my travel to work, the first day after my vacation. Inside the train my recording equipment (soundman digital recorder dr2) generates a lot of digital noise – more than usual. Interesting. Therefore i upload from when the commuter train stops at gothenburg central station and the doors open and i walk away from the station. The digital noise is there all the time but just less audible. In the beginning of the sound file you hear the noise clearly. Don’t buy this little recorder… (it has a sigmatel recording chip. ). In the frequency analysis, and spectral view, i notice peaks at about 800 - 950hz, 7850 - 8350hz and 16100-16450hz. I guess this is part of the digital noise. Tried to eq this away with spectral edit. This did not improve the sound. The noise has a wider spectrum. Tried to download the “latest” firmware at www. Soundman. De. Had to open command prompt and use unzip to extract the files. What?! but the firmware downloader does not detect the “device”. I doubt there is a new firmware anyway. The year for this recording, according to the recorder, is 2002…. The recording starts about 07:50 monday, august 07, 2017. I took 2 seconds from the beginning of this file and used paulstretch. Resulting in a 20second digital noise drone, “dr2 digital noise”,https://freesound. Org/people/gis_sweden/sounds/399075/had a thought that i could use a file like this to cancel out these frequencies from the other file with an inverted digital noise file… but i cant invert frequencies – off course :-d.

Minimalism-ism by Marco Kalnenek. Marco Kalnenek [*1969] is a musician from Heerlen, the Netherlands. Kalnenek started playing the piano at age 9. His first band Foolish Behaviour was formed around 1982, when he started jamming and recording tapes with assorted friends. Hundreds of hours of music and other noises were recorded in the 12 years that followed. A few cassettes and cd-r’s were privately released and various tracks turned up on compilations, most notably on Comfort Stand Recordings and blocSonic. In the meantime Kalnenek started his own label, WM Recordings, in 2004. After years of relative inactivity Marco Kalnenek’s first official EP “If Not For” finally appeared in May 2013.

Opening and closing different types of windows. First one is a roof-light. Second one is a standard house window. Third one is tilting the standard house window and fourth one is a cellar window out of metal.

Pretty much i recorded this outside of my house in michigan. I recorded 4 seconds and copy and paste, so it is about 8 seconds. The first section is played normally then i copied it and made it play reversed. This sound is loopable and free to use.

A recording i made by using a small camcorder which i proceeded to drag on top of a wooden desk. The sound was obviously extracted from the video i recorded. Could be useful sounds for pov/first-person-movies projects. Or a sound for typical items that you drag on top of a desk. Enjoy!.

Thunder from a storm centered about a mile from my location. Rolling thunder throughout, a cardinal is the songbird in first portion, steady rain, use as a meditation or environment loop is perfect. Recorded on a zoom digital recorder.

My cousin who owns & manages a mexican restaurant is cleaning up the kitchen while i'm taking my first meal break after a busy day of helping her with customers. You can hear the radio playing in the background too.

This is the first sound in a new pack called "in reality". This new pack was made to showcase the sounds made for stuff like music loops before they are distorted. This one is the original recording (with most static removed) of ceramic_crash. I simply hit a small ceramic bowl with a teaspoon 2 times.
