A recent visit to london and i recorded these sounds with my iphone4 for a project, they aren't the highest of quality (limited by the mic quality on the phone) but they give a good indication and could probably benefit from some eq to make it sound better.

I recorded a thunderstorm with my samsung galaxy m20 out of my bathroom for 10 minutes. There is a corrugated plastic roof, which gives the rain a nice, but also a tinny sound. That's why highlighted the bass sounds and reduced the high noises for a better experiance. I also looped it, so it is 30 minutes long with fade-in and fade-out. Enjoy!.

This is a tesla coil with a discharge that sounds muck like an old style 'stick' arc welder. For the technical it is a tesla coil that uses a static spark gap, while high-voltage-discharge-2 clip uses a rotary gap giving a different sound altogether. #csd [collabo sound design]. Cuffh4tz (#csd 001). Smashing one part of the cuffz on the other one which lies on a wooden table. The wooden table was chosen to damp the signal and gives it a more solid sound. The chain between the cuffz adds a nice character to the sound. This library consists of 39 samples.

The oud is an oriental instrument,which is being played at egypt,syria ,palestine,maroc,algeria,jordania. Greece etc. . . It is the predecessor of the european lute,but sounds quite different. The original samples are very short. I put them into my akai 2000,looped them and tried to give them a synthetic decay. A space-ship laser firing sound with a retro-y 8-bit effect. My work, feel free to use in any way however you'd like. To make this, i used a synth in cubase to get the basic laser sound, then exported to garageband where i applied and tweaked the bitcrusher effect to give it the 8-bit effect.

This is one of the v-shaped hand exerciser's that you squeeze together. I use it every day as i also play the drums. My physical therapist says it's also good for the shoulder. Recorded with my yamaha pocketrak and edited on sony vegas. I duplicated the tracks which gives a better sound. Please comment on what you will use it for. :^).

Electrical hum created by my guitar lead resting on the table top while connected to a line 6 box going into my laptop. The line 6 software was also giving it lots of 'cavernous hall' reverb. Quite stereo too. It is a g as far as i can tell but slightly sharp so try shifting the pitch to get it in tune with other instruments.

An eight minute long soundscape i made for an episode of an audio fiction podcast. Intended to give the impression of a strange and otherworldly empty void, and to mildly imply sci-fi machinery with a spiritualist undertone. However, could easily be used for other projects where you want to create a feeling of discomfort, or of being in a strange and empty place.
