I think its a good way of practicing sound design(or anything musically), to just limit your self some times. Basically got the idea when i was studying musique concréte. (concrete music). It is noon, very hot and sunny and millions of crickets are chirping. In the distance, some goat-bells can be heard, otherwise the place is deserted. Recorded with a zoom h2. This file contains the rear channels, recorded with 120° dispersion.

Another psy goa trance base sample pack. The fist sample is just a spacer. I think it starts at e1. I have never seen a set of psy base samples on the net, thought i'd put them up. I used some compression and a bit of eq to make it sound like something you'll hear on a gaming console machine. However, the audio spikes from the high freq took me a while to cut off. Can't figure out why it does that but in my opinion it still sounds good :).

I typed quite slow in the beginning if you need to edit out and synch with your footage, if you just want typing sound in the background i think the best is in the end of the clip. The mouse clicking comes later in the clip. I've mixed it a bit but might need more mixing. I've used freesound for 7 years now and i thought i would pay back for all the good sounds that i've used from freesound. More will come <3.

Just playing with the alesis vortex keytar i got at a garage sale for practically nuttin'. The guitar synth is revitar. And i ran it through amplitude. Timings a off and it sound fake. Okay if the sound you're going for is a drunk robot, i got you covered. Actually, i think a keytar and a good guitar synth would actually be pretty sweet. Best garage sale find ever. Better than that time i got all those pedals.

I was messing around with some voice effects and somehow ended up with this growl. It sounds like a noise a dinosaur or dragon would make. Or like a clicker from "the last of us. "also, if you slow it down, it sounds like wood creaking. Let me know if it's useful for you, hope it makes for some good sound design with whatever you're doing. I'm excited to hear what you do with this sound if you do use it.

Recording during a strong autumn storm, with heavy rain, in a large garden, surrounded by big pine trees. The wind was so strong, that i had a fear that one of the branches of the pines could snap and fall on me. The recording is a 32bit float, 48khz ms-stereo one, made with a sennheiser mkh 416, and ambient ate 308 emesser figure of eight, in a røde blimp with fur cover. I was amazed that the blimp did its job this good in this strong wind.

A scary, weird sound effect of me saying "huh?" and that word being dragged out. This is a very lowfi recording of a xerox workcentre 7345 actually performing a copy of a single page. Includes a button beep at the start, fan noise, servo motor sounds, paper sorter moving sounds and lots of other mechanics being moved around. You really get an idea how complicated these modern machines are. . :). The bitrate is only 13 kbit/s and the resulting audio quality not very good, but the file size is really small. Maybe audio level needs normalizing, though.

Generated 10 minutes of white noise, applied some eq and what i may call stereo expansion, and got this thing that should be good enough to be used as an ambient sound for cold weather or polar wind. Many of the sounds i have found here and elsewhere, have other noises and/or were created through other methods like blowing.

A water faucet set to drip in a chaotic manner, without much regularity. I put a plastic container lid under that for sound to be more pronounced, but that added crunchiness and now it doesn’t resemble dripping as much. Recorded with redmi note 5 phone, denoised in audacity plus filtered bass out a bit. P. S. I need to say that i foolishly recorded it into an im app and the recording ended up as. This is a (-nother) synthetic soundscape i did some years ago, reminiscent of a wide, enclosed, dark cavern, very good for subtly underlaying film scenes playing in appropriate locations. Originally, it is a recording of me blowing on a beer-bottle, captured by a sennheiser condenser mic, and then receiving some attention by the yamaha multi-effects generator in my university back then. Xw8g+63 porto koufo, toroni, greece22 minutes sound of waves on the gravel recorded in 2017 the port of koufo beach, sithonia, halkidiki, chalkidiki. Having no other recording device, i used my camera, a lumix dmc fz62 that has good microphones and can record decent stereo wav files, without compression.

Just a looping beat patter made in fl studio 11 while playing with elektrostudio model mini. Pattern includes intro and outro + it has a multiple variations within, suitable for cutting, and editing into a beat. *it is not a full beat, rather several ideas played freely. Good source for a begginer who is learning about making a beats.

909 kick with massive distortion and eqíng. Used the eks-9 vst plugin to emulate a 909 kick drum. Placed a huge load of different distortion plugins on different spores, to create a heavy distorted sound. In between those distortion plugins i used several eq's to manipulate the sound. A light thunderstorm in carrboro, nc. Not too much wind or heavy rain, but some very good thunder claps. As the thunder slowly fades away, some distant traffic and a siren can be heard. Recorded on a zoom h2. This was uploaded as vorbis instead of flac or wav because it's quite long but i thought people might find it useful to have the whole thing. Some intelligent de-clipping was also performed in audacity to remove some slight distortion from the loudest claps.

I used cheap mallet sticks made of rubber to play on a ride cymbal. Not really a good tremolo or whatever you call it, but it has its moments!recorded with a tascam dr 100. The ride was bosphorus traditional series. So i think it's 21 inces i guess? correct me there, i lack loads of drum-knowledge. Sorry about the attributional cc. Hi, i recorded this sound especially because i couldn't find any good quality keyboard typing sounds. I used my kit (zoom h5 and rode videomic pro) to capture the sound while my friend was typing. I used the microphone from 15-20 cm far from the soubject and the room was small (around 15sqm), so reverb wasn't an issue. If any of these sounds are helpful for you, you can always donate to empower the community.

Crude arpeggio and single note taps of the inner strings of an early-20th-century chas m. Stieff upright piano. This particular model was made in baltimore and spent most of its life in the lobby of the willard intercontinental hotel in d. C. , and the last 30 years in our home in fairfax, virginia. We are dismantling part of the piano to repair, clean, and, unfortunately, sell it. The mechanism for one note is the only problem, and, of course, it needs tuning. Anyone willing to give this a good home?.

This is the final piece for our final project of sound creation laboratory. We have made changes in several ways: erasing redundant information (such as spoken words), filtered a section of the piece in order to make a sense of outside the club or inside the club. We also introduced an echo effect to make the effect of a drunk state. Furthermore, a bed sound has been placed at the final of the piece. This is a good improvement related with the final impression the piece gives to the audience. It's a recreation of tired atmosphere and also of the desire of sleeping.

Multiple gunshots recorded at an indoor gun range. Many of the shots are from an ak47, including single shots and full auto. There is some background noise, but there are some good clear shots in there that can be easily cut out and used. Unfortunately the original recording is only mp3 and the recorder had auto-gain set so some shots are recorded louder than others, but there are still some usable shots in there.
