A rather lengthy sound byte that i heavily edited to the point of being unrecognizable. It sustains a flat note with varying bass levels causing an unnerving effect or the listener or player. I had designed this track for a roleplay plot involving a cursed train station, the plot came out kinda rough and it fell through midway. . . But, the audio track i made came out good enough to post here like my first sound involving my transformers oc!. It's free to use as long as you credit me, and it can be used in a wide variety of fields that is deemed appropriate. From suspense to horror, or even background noise in a lighter field; it can be altered and edited as needed due to it's broad and simple design. Better set on monoaural on your daw if possible due to the off-center recording. Having been a bit ill on some rich iron content food i couldn't stomach (offal it was, it was the sheep fried liver who was the culprit - the very rich iron content upset my stomach pretty bad - was looking for something "new". ). Keep in mind that i am unable to do this as a request for obvious reasons including health, livelihood and risk of damage to equipment. I tried very hard to avoid shaking the zoom as not to make the wobbling sounds. If i am ill again, i'll use my ma-2 (microphone stick) and gravity microphone stand and get a real good recording of real vomiting but keep in mind this was recorded in my showerroom so some er may occur.

This is one of those sound effects you kind of go "huh?" about when you hear. Let me explain what this is and how i imagine it being used. To me, it sounded like a good sound effect for when a computer (whether in a game or animation or whatever) screen starts writing down text (in other words, when a message is displayed on a screen and is written down one letter at a time until the complete message is shown). There are two versions here. The first one fades out (to be used a single time), and the second one is loopable (so you can loop it to make it last longer). A long recording on board the "green car" of the jr tokkaido line from atami to shinagawa. A "green car" refers to the first class cars on some long distance local trains. The ride is smoother and the cars are generally much quieter. The cars are generally empty but, this was at the end of a 3 day weekend, so the car was actually quite active (i'll try to get a quiet one soon). You can hear the ticket attendant, the conductor's announcements, station arrivals and departures, passengers getting on and off the train and settling in and having conversations. At some point you can hear the guy behind me eating senbei (a crunchy japanese rice cracker) - that's a little annoying, but there might be some usable bits in there if you're good at editing backgrounds. Over 5 minutes of background noise from a well-known new york city diner, including people talking, clanging plates and glasses and forks and knives and cups being cleared away by staff, and in the second half of the clip, radio ads playing faintly in the background. But crucially, no music is playing. This means you can either use this clean, or layer in your own rights-cleared music if you're using this in a film or whatever. The new hope & ivyland railroad is located in new hope, pennsylvania, usa. Basically, it's a tourist railroad that gives visitors the experience of riding in an old fashioned train. You take a short trip out (too short in my opinion) and a short trip back to the station. Since i wanted clean sound, my wife decided to surprise me by paying for the private seats on the very back (outside) of the train. Think of old pictures of presidents waving from the rear of a moving train. . . That place!. So, with zoomh4n pro in hand, i recorded the entire trip from station to station. My first upload! this sound i made using the zmors synth on my ipad air2 - i used audiobus which is a great routing software allowing many of a lot of awesome sounding synths that are now on ipad and can be played professionally via a usb keyboard controller (very handy for gigging) okay this is getting too wordy. . . I used audiobus overall with zmors in the first slot being routed through the wonderful aufx eq app in the center (effects) slot then ran the most useful of all ---> audioshare app in the 3rd or output slot to record it all. . . Keep in mind that the number of devices you can run in these three slots is virtually limitless - as much as your device can handle so you can get really nuts with several synths, a drum machine, etc all routing to the middle (fx) stop in the chain and picking up a fat 3 or 4 nice sounding effects devices then on to output to audioshare or you can now use just audioshare as host and run zmors in it directly (and probably more smoothly). I chose zmors because on a couple of other ipads (ipad mini, ipad 2 especially, and ipad air a little bit) i was noticing that it was a resource hog and was not playing correctly or there was a huge lag in the latency so with the new(er) ipad air 2 i wanted to hear the zmors synth and it really is an underappreciated majestic sounding beast if you ask me. I am going to experiment further with it as the unique architecture and just the way it sounds is totally different from any other synth i've yet to hear on ipad or in general. It kind of reminds me of a fatter, more modern. Sequential circuits 6 track. Which i've had a couple of and have a thick layered sound - kind of like a really nice turkey sandwich with a good portion of swiss cheese then you notice that there's still some roast beef left and put a good amount of that between bread as well. Hindus believe that through good works you can be born in a higher caste or even realm in the next life. Among the people who belong to the caste of brahmans, the priestly caste, it happens that some have memories of many past lives. This track represents the connection between the heartbeat of a brahman priest during his meditation and his energetic vibrations, long time ago, as crystal. He discovers that time is an illusion and that all his lives are layers one on another creating a building, the shape of his eternal existence. He has yet to build further but is well on his way. Right now, he should not be proud, or in the next life he will be certainly no angel but falls back to a previous level.

Here in the midwest we were treated to a nice preview of autumn here in the northern hemisphere. Both the temperature and humidity were nicely lower than usual and this soundscape was recorded featuring the beautiful northern breezes and a few of the birds that still live here. Since this ambience was recorded during the work-week, there are hardly any man-made internal combustion engine noises. Just the wind lifting and swirling through the tired forest and the blue jays, crows and insects. Recording made at 2:30pm on september 13 2022. Equipment used: recorder-sound devices 702microphones- left channel- sennheiser mkh 416right channel - sennheiser mkh 8070. The right channel, the very low-noise direction shotgun microphone, was pointed just about straight up at the leaves and branches of a huge cottonwood tree whose dry leaves were putting on a show. Hope you can hear this. Recorded and edited in stereo so either good studio monitors or headphones will make you feel you are in the forest surrounded by the gentle breezes swirling through oaks and cottonwood trees and insects and birds.

The piano piece is one of orangefreesounds' many beautiful looping piano melodies. I added some effects and an ambient mellotron using the free, but stunning redtron se vst instrument, which uses recorded samples of a real mellotron. Highly recommended if you are looking for an authentic mellotron sound. . . Please excuse the rough start, the reason why it sounds so weird is because it is a prefect loop, that means that everything, including all the effects, loops perfectly. What you hear in the very start is the reverb and delay effects from the end carrying over to the start. It will sound completely seamless once looped!. . It might not sound good as a preview, so i recommend to download and listen to it on your own device, as the website has a bad habit of compressing and adding a bunch of annoying squeaking sounds to the audio. .

This started out as a good idea for one of my projects but began to have a life of it's own as i rolled up my sleeves and fussed over every detail. As you will hear, this sound file/track embraces panning like their is no tomorrow. You should be able to fold your sounds into it. Either snaking through it with your own panning sounds, or laying your sounds straight down the middle. - you should find several looping points within the 2:28 runtime. A nice wet-themed ambiance of early spring in a small midwestern town in the us. The spring peepers dominate, always in the background. The american toads trill off and on (:38----1:04, 2:09-----2:31, 5:50----6:07, 6:25----6:40)there is also a distant dog bark, with echo at 3:31. Distant car horn at 3:57. Since this was recorded on a busy weeknight at 7pm, a lot of distant car doors and people picking up and dropping off kiddos for basketball practice, choir practice and other ancient extracurricular activities. There is a particularly good door open and slam and muted conversations at 6:43 to 6:56 and again at 7:17stereo recording made on thursday night march 29th, 2018 using a sound devices 702 and an audiotechnica bp4025 stereo microphone. The original was recorded at the very high sample rate of 196hz. Enjoy a town winding down and internalizing on a cold, drippy wet night in either very late winter, or very early spring.

Short field recordings made with my iphone in august 2013 while visiting family on one of the many small residential islands located in beaufort, south carolina (of forrest gump, the prince of tides, the big chill, and the great santini fame for any movie buffs out there). The loud buzzing is the ear-piercing mating call of the cicada insect, a sound that's hard to escape in the sultry summer months and semi-tropical environment of the south carolina low country. You can also hear tree frogs and i think maybe some birds too. Unfortunately there's also a little ambient whine of an air conditioner at times and me tip-toeing quietly around on the crunchy gravel dirt road. . . Because i didn't realize my iphone would do such a good job of picking up the sound of my footsteps. :). I made this recording with my newly acquired $10 primo em172 omni mic capsules, which i soldered to a cable diy loosely based on this tutorial:http://www. Wildmountainechoes. Com/equipment/diy-stereo-electret-mics-primo-em-172-capsules/this is a good example of what the capsules sound like when plugged directly into an inexpensive zoom h1 audio recorder. So far i've been pretty stunned by the performance of these capsules, which are significantly more sensitive than the built in microphones on the h1, and to my ears sound much less muddy. I'm particularly impressed by this because the capsules are running on the 2. 5v of plug-in power that the h1 delivers, which is below the minimum specs of the capsules. Even so there is remarkably little noise. I can only imagine how they would sound with a battery pack to deliver a full 5 volts!.

Airplane, atr 72 (at72) flying by towards airfield at 300 m altitude. Atr 72 is a plane much like the dh8d, a twin engined propeller plane. Recorded at a quiet location (maybe only some birds). Observing point: 300 m from the side of the flying route (one has to look up about 45 degrees for the plane). Speed: about 250 to 280 km/h. This is the recording as it is, recorded with zoom h2n music-capable voicerecorder. The mode of the voicerecorder was just the good old ordinary left-right stereo recording (xy) not such things as mid-side or 4 channel etc. No compression used. I may have edited out some sudden bird sounds or beeps from the camera but that's of negigible influence on the sound. There is a slight hiss from a row of trees in the distance. Feel free to use. If you're happy with the recording, it only adds to the fun i already had of it.

This is a sound of a mercedes benz 709d mini bus driving on a really hard icy road. It was a rattly old bus, everything squeaked and rumbled on it. I videoed this journey with my canon powershot a460 digital camera, i simply took the sound from the video. It's a good sound, it turned out well thanks to the winter weather, and the rough icy road. This is a recording i made on sunday november 4th 2012 of the gentle, droning sounds of insects that were singing in a marshy area near the shore of a small lake. This is a very typical ambiance of autumn in the southern portion of illinois. If you listen carefully, you'll hear another very typical fall sound, the cry of blue jays in the heavy woods which surround this lake. One of my favorite sound-scapes. I made this with my rugged and dependable handy zoom h4n recorder, using its built-in microphones. I literaly had it sitting on a small log only about 15 feet from the water's edge. Because the insects were not very loud, i did have to crank up my record volume to 86 on the scale of 100; this means you will hear a little bit of slight wind rumble, but all-in-all i think the recording paints a good picture of the early autumn landscape and everything slows down and winds down for the bitter winter ahead. The amtrak pacific surfliner winds it'd way up and down the pacific coast coast. This train is known for spectacular coastal views. Here you can hear this high-speed train come screaming through burbank's downtown station (traffic can be heard on i-5 in the distance). You will hear a security guard walk behind me just before the train comes through. He was one of our trusty transpo officers making sure i wasn't up to no good with my zoomh4n device. Here in the midwest we were treated to a nice preview of autumn here in the northern hemisphere. Both the temperature and humidity were nicely lower than usual and this soundscape was recorded featuring the beautiful northern breezes and a few of the birds that still live here. Since this ambience was recorded during the work-week, there are hardly any man-made internal combustion engine noises. Just the wind lifting and swirling through the tired forest and the blue jays, crows and insects. Recording made at 2:30pm on september 13 2022. Equipment used: recorder-sound devices 702microphones- left channel- sennheiser mkh 416right channel - sennheiser mkh 8070. The right channel, the very low-noise direction shotgun microphone, was pointed just about straight up at the leaves and branches of a huge cottonwood tree whose dry leaves were putting on a show. Recorded and edited in stereo so either good studio monitors or headphones will make you feel you are in the forest surrounded by the gentle breezes swirling through oaks and cottonwood trees and insects and birds.

I videoed this sound of a subway train in glasgow scotland on the famous "clockwork orange" train as they are called. I used my canon powershot a460 digital camera to video this, i simply took the sound from the video. I was lucky enough to get a good run on this with just a few poeple on board, so there wasn't any other sound apart from the train, the only time you here some movement of feet is when the doors open. Let me set the scene for this audio because i am a nerd. . . Burbank, california. A large apartment/condominium complex with an open courtyard and a swimming pool and hot tub. Now, for some reason in la, nobody ever seems to actually use pools or hot tubs anymore so it's not hard to get clean audio. So, from beginning to end you will basically hear me turn the automatic shutoff dial on the wall, walk to the hot tub, get in the hot tub, and sit in various positions for extended periods of time. I combined an ambient bar crowd recording that i found here with a funky little back beat that i also found on this site and made a great cubicle noise blocker / filter. I use this at work with headphones on when i'm trying to concentrate and drown out conversations in the office. Also good for when i work from home and i'm trying to drown out the tv and other distractions. The crowd noise is excellent at diffusing regular office conversation and the little funky back beat keeps the crowd noise from getting boring. This works really well even at fairly low volume i. E. You dont have to crank it loud to drown out the distractions. Hope you like it and thanks to everyone for the great sounds on this site. I recorded this today (1/12/23) from atlanta, where we had a bunch of heavy rain and tornado warnings this afternoon. The radio station i recorded this from is am 750. The first part of the recording isn't very interesting, but the part where she started talking about how you can't see any tornados coming was really interesting to me. I think this would make for some really good ambience in like an environmental horror track. I decided to include the whole recording anyways in case anyone wanted it. Here's the backstory to this thingey if anyone really wants it:we were on tornado watch as i was speeding trying to get home from work, when the sirens started to go off. I had to pull into a disheveled looking parking garage, as that was the closest place i could get to. The garage only had one level, so i had no way of getting to lower ground. I sat there in my car, terrified that i might be stuck there, in a shitty parking deck, in the middle of a giant ass storm, with very little cell signal, for hours on end. I decided to turn on my radio and record it from my phone. Fortunately, i was only in there for 30 minutes, and i managed to get home after the rain cleared up a bit.

Made in ableton live. A slow firing heavy weapon. 19 layers were used to create this one. Eq was used to select different frequencies from various weapon samples and compressed together for the inital transient or pop. Time based fade in/out layering was used for the sustain and reverb tails so they fit nicely together. The single shot that was layered together was then printed as a new audio sample. I created a loop and pitched every shot by a few cents or 1 semitone to add variation. Each sample was then manually shifted on the timeline forward or backward by milliseconds to give a more realistic feel in timing rather than sound robotic. Each shot was sidechained to duck down in volume when a new shot triggers for more clarity. Mechanical trigger and bolt movement samples were add in before/after the initial transient of the shot. Shell hit floor samples were used for added detail. I felt the shots lacked a good sub bass so an eq was used to filter out the sub and replaced with a rapidly decaying 808 kick drums sub. Once the loop was formed, all shots were then grouped together and processed with a transient designer into a clipper, a compressor, a maximizer, ott multiband, gluing reverb, stereo spread and then into a final limiter. This is my recreation of the noise in the background of a video shot on a consumer grade minidv camcorder (a well used one). I haven't had a minidv camcorder on hand for a few years and nobody i knew would give me a recording of just tape motor noise so i went to create the noise myself. This sound is a combination of a very badly pressed dvd in my computer's drive mixed with a tone made in audacity (up one octave from the tone that the disc ended up creating), all mixed down and brought down in volume. I know it's not a prefect recreation, but i don't have a minidv camcorder on hand so this is about as good as i can get it. If anyone has access to an anechoic chamber, a fresh tape, and a well used consumer grade minidv camcorder, please get in touch with me. I'd like the real deal better than my recreation that i did in my spare time. Note on recreating the noise out of hdv camcorders. They have slightly different hardware and as such will create different bearing noise (most times, there's an extra whine on top of the familiar bearing whine heard from standard dv camcorders). I forget the exact frequency, but it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 840hz-860hz and it's a sort of sine wave, but a modest bit more jagged. You'll have to provide your own stock camcorder mic hiss as each camcorder is different (not for definite sure on sony camcorders, but canon camcorders have a pink-ish white noise in about that era).

I then demodulated it first at 10. 6 and then 10. 2khz meaning that what comes out is essentially the opposite sideband, offset by 3. 4 and 3. 8khz respectively. 3khz just didn't sound as good. The first i filtered with a low pass of 2. 9khz, the second was filtered to below 3. 4khz to emulate a communications receiver passband. I am speaking upside down as described in this video.
