When Johnny Comes Marching Home performed by the Brass Quartet of the United States Navy Band. Members of the quartet include Chief Musician Stanley Curtis on trumpet, Musician 1st Class Philip Eberly on euphonium, Musician 1st Class Anthony Halloin on tuba and Chief Musician John Schroeder on trumpet. Originally an early 19th century Irish tune that became popular during during the civil war, Patrick Gilmore wrote lyrics for it and published it as "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" in 1863. The version you hear performed by the Navy Band Brass Quartet was arranged by Schroeder. I recorded it with a samsung ace3 and then put it through the cubase 5 with some high and low cuts in the eq from cubase and with a litle gate.

Decided to just record my fridge that i needed for a project, sharing here for anyone else who needs a fridge!. Recorded with a zoom f6, 2 x rode nt55s set to cardioid, xy coincident recording24 bit, 96 khz.

Natural gas heater igniting in attic, with the sound of gas flowing then the pops as the metal warms up, and finally the blower engages.

A snare from a cheap kids drumkit, recorded with a mobile phone. I've used it to add noise to a cleaner snare sample and it was very effective.

I decided to make tea and record my ritual, the only thing i did not record was the tea kettle. I also recorded a few sips at the end.
