1 looping envelope and 2 vclfos in a dance. I think its harder for this combination to find a nice pattern - equilibrium. It happens sometimes. Maybe the mixture between positive and negative cv confuses the modules. Makes it harder. I start the recording with the looping envelope in non looping mode. After about 19 sec i switch to looping-mode. Records and hope that a pattern should emerge. This time there is a pattern. Yay! not 100% stable but that's perfect!okay, it is harder to recognize patterns when a sequencer is involved.

Created and formatted for the make noise morphagene, this reel is divided into three sections with like sounds clustered together for ease of navigation. The first group of splices are glitchy, percussive, experimental, modular snippets. The middle third consists of melodic and chordal washes. The final cluster is a series of field recordings taken from a recent trip to beirut, lebanon, with a cut up inspired splice at the very end. Collectively, i hope this sonic material will inspire the user to mangle, manipulate, and deconstruct to taste.

Wrote/recorded a free dance tune at 100bpm using ableton live 9. Basic 4 chord song structure (a, e, g, d). Synth and synth sounds are a combination of ableton stock plugins (bass groove, might as well synth brass, celestial pad) and free online synth vsts (dexed, synth1 vst). This sound was taken with zoom h4n recorder. Location: meylan, france, in the alps. The town is situated near a 300. 000 inhabitants city, in a valley surrounded by moutains. Description : rain is pouring louder and louder, rolling thunder strikes periodically, exploding like a gunshot or echoing from one moutain to another. (i'm afraid at one point, the sound of a music from a video game played by neighboors was recorded, but apart from these few seconds, this sound is cool ;))hope you'll find it helpful.

I tried and tried and tried to find a genuine audio recording of a sandstorm, but all i could find were synthetic mixes. What genuine audio i did find always had some other noise or voice polluting the audio. So, i found a couple of great wind audio recordings, some wind rustling a dry corn field, and some low earth rumbling and combined all of that to create the closet approximation i could to the authentic sandstorm audio i was able to find but couldn't use. I hope others find this audio useful in any of your projects. Feel free to use with no worries.

This is a "happy birthday to you" rendition to celebrate the 15th freesound birthday (april 5th 2020). I wanted to find a good creative commons 0 sound effect of fingernails scratching on a wooden surface but i could find the exact thing i was looking for. So i recorded myself scratching my bedroom door with my fingernails using a recording app on my phone and edited it in audacity to remove breathing sounds, and to make the sound feel more heavy/deep, including some very faint reverb. Since i really wanted this i thought it might be useful for someone else! i hope someone else out there like me finds this somewhat useful. Theres a bit of a clicking noise at the end - i think from the recording process.

An old project (2017, 4 years ago) i never uploaded anywhere before. I hope that others will take inspiration from this. This is practically a sequel to "muffled warfare" that i never released, and have titled it so. Inspired by this war of mine. A collection of sounds muffled and mixed together to create a warfare soundscape heard from within a church. A lone individual sifts through the scraps of war, and checks the worldwide news from his radio. The war marches on around them, however, and he must move on.

This is a compilation of recordings from behind my daughter's house in dallas. Close to the rr track where they probably travel. But she seems to have a group of them near her who live there for at least part of the year. The 2 barks are from her late dog leo who she lost this year so i could not bear to take them out. Also i processed this audio with audacity and they started as mono. . . So i put them in stereo tracks. . . . Hope they are ok for some peoplealso you will notice that some parts are louder than others and i did not feel like normalizing volume. Aaaaooooooooo.

Rain in the evening in a calm suburb area. Taken from a window. Drops fall on a concrete and window-sill too. Window is on a ground floor. Taken by a special app recording to wav 44khz 16 bit mono wav file on a samsung s8500 wave with a special app that can record to looseless. The phone was put directly to the window pointing the mic outside the window. This is my first try to share some sound, hope you like it. I have 2 more and better rain sounds to come. There is no other sound than the rain itself. The files hasent been post-processed.

Recorded the sounds with a zoom h1n in my apartment. Snare is a flick with my fingers on a wooden door + added snarebuzz in post production to it, kick is a hit with my hand on the wall produced some nice lows. I had to create an another track for just the transient, but essentially made from the same sound. Hihat is the stove's clicking sound with added reverb. Post production made in ableton live lite with mostly the integrated audio effects, but i also used some free plugins to create this drum loop. I hope you enjoy, it's 100% royalty-free.

A low frequency hum that will work on pc speakers (at least it does on my pc). . - i made this sound because i needed a deep hum for a composition, but as it turned out my pc speakers cut off low frequencies. A quick googling taught me that this is common for many pc's, but also that there might be ways around it in terms of designing waves that the speakers can produce. And so, after playing around with audacity abit, i came up with this low frequency hum that works well for my purpose at least. - i hope it might help others with similar issues.

Vocal, speaking, and audio snippets of interviews of visual artists that i did as part of a collaborative music project in 2018. The idea was to chop up and use these samples for a trance / punk form of music - which we jokingly called prance music. I used some, but never released any music with it in the end. Wrote/recorded a short song about popping zits at 140 bpm in ableton live 9:kontakt player used for the formaggio string sections. My vocals were recorded with a akg 214c mic into a scarlett 18i20. Nothing fancy just get it down. Lyrics "get me now from the skin below, won't you help me out? i am stuck inside"then reverb added to vocals.
