Created this sample using only audacity. I started off by generating a square wave chirp between 10000 and 20000 hz on a mono track, copied this created a stereo track and messed around with timestretching and low pass filtering until i got the desired sound.

Anyone familiar with circuit bent sounds will recognize something in this fake circuit bent production of mine. I abused bitcrushers, frequency shifters and god knows what else on my guitar recordings. . . I need another aspirin. >_>;.

This was recorded at the san giorgi in braida church along the adige river in verona, italy. I used a zoom h1 set on the top of a pew a few seats away from where i sat. The organist was practicing at nearly the other end of the church, hence the atmospheric and distant audio quality.

This is just a part of the sor song and i added the large hall sound as i love that sound which reminds of some lonesome guitar player playing from his heart either for free or a few pesetas. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).

This sounds was originally supposed to be leaves crunching but when i finished fixing it up, it turned up sounding like i was eating chips. So all you who need the crunching of chips and what seems to be a bit of chewing, this is for you.

One of my favorite summer and late-summer sounds. The night-hawk is the star of this recording. This recording was made around 9pm at night in mid-august and, even though i never could see this nighthawk, his calls pierced through the night-sky to let me know he was up there, somewhere, orbiting on the prowl for mosquitos and other insects. I have always loved this sound ever since i was a kid and going to sleep at night i felt comforted knowing that, like some circling fighter jet, the nighthawks would be on the job, plowing down the population of mosquitos, while i slept all night. Recording actually made in the parking lot of a major midwest university around 9pm at night on august 19th, 2014. Equipment: marantz pmd661 modified by oade brothers electronics, beyerdynamic me58 microphone. My record volume was 7.

An instrumental piece i made in garageband for something called victors crypt!. I combined a beat i made on a drum machine with one i made on sampled drums to make it really swing. I added a cocky simple bassline to build more sounds to. Strings, horns and synth sounds were added as well. . . . As of this recording, i am the official town troubadour of manchester, ct, usa. I am just putting the finishing touches on an album collecting the various songs i have written for the town in this role. One of the songs mentions the church bells that ring out every day in at the top of the hill in town, so i thought it would be nice to open that song with a field recording of the bells. Every day at noon, center congregational church in manchester, ct, usa plays a full 10 minutes of music. This is a recording of the full 10 minutes as played on december 4th, 2022 - recorded with a zoom h1n, fades added in audacity. It was quite windy and despite my wind sock, there is the occasional audible gust. I was set away from direct traffic sound, but there is ambient traffic sound. There was also a church maintenance truck that slowly drove past me midway through the recording (probably curious at the strange person with the tripod recorder and headphones). I have not attempted to identify the songs in this recording. But if you recognize any, please let me know!.

A hot summer afternoon in the swedish forest/mountains. Recorded with zoom h5 (xy) outside the cabin i rented. Recording mostly consists of birds and general life from people moving/talking as they arrive to their cabins with family. Its intended to represent a peaceful vibe with some human presence. I decided to not remove much movement/actions from the people such post because i felt it might suck out the soul of the recording. In post: in pro tools i removed some low rumble, and and trimmed the highs just a little bit. Added a "pro expander" to lower some noise, both generated by the h5 and the location. Ps. I have a version with 2 dpa 4060 in a ab stereo fashion of the same recording, abit noisy but its on my profile if you want to listen. Hope you like it.
