Recorded from my apartment, second floor. This starts with a few bolts of lightning during the end of a typical early summer afternoon and ends up on a pretty huge thunderstorm including hail. I wish i could have recorded more but the storm was getting so important, i had to close my window.

First i shake 5 dices on my hand, then i rolled 5 dices on a wood table, then 4 dices and so on until i rolled 1 dice. Recorded with a simple mic. Wish you like it. _____. Here are some drums i made, on the synthesizer again. In order they are: parallel compressed kick, regular kick, snare, closed hi-hat and open hi-hat. The set before the break is mastered, while the set after the break isn't (i did throw a little limiter in there though just to boost 'em up a bit easily, but they're still not mastered). Enjoy. Credit is appreciated but not at all needed, i just like synthesizer-ing.

A door is trying to keep itself closed with a strong wind (very fast thanks to the mountain). You can notice the cracks: it's old, more than 30 years old. I left a wall clock running by mistake, but i think it can't be noticed. If you do and don't want it, i have another recording with it stopped (same name, number 2). Recorded with a zoom h4n. Searched everywhere for this sound and was astonished not to find it. Very basic slap of the bare palm over the opening of an empty glass bottle, while holding the bottle in the other hand. This was hella tough to make! and i used this program that turns picture into sound. It has paint tools, and you start with a black canvas, you draw up a pattern on it, and depending on the color, position, size, quality, format and translucency of the marks and lines you placed, you get sounds. But it is really hard to get a hang of! this took me 3 days to get it right! please comment and rate, i worked really hard on this! by the way, i'll be making more of these, so if you like it, then i have three more.

Large metal sheet and ornamental metalwork gate to village cemetery opened and shut, creaking on it's hinges. Recorded around midnight to avoid bird and insect calls - despite this precaution there were birds calling in the distance. On arrival i saw there was a house adjacent to cemetery. Fearful of waking the non-dead i didnt hang around for more than two bad takes. I've added this not so impressive recording to give a taste of what i hope to record of this wonderfully vocal gate in the future.

After many years of 'lurking' on this website and downloading and using sounds for my projects, i am happy to hopefully contribute something useful to this site. I am not a professional audio tech or anything related, but i do own a zoom h5 recorder and had to make some recordings for one of my multimedia projects. Created by taking a stock sound effect of guitar plugs being pulled and distorting, reversing, stretching, looping, adding phaser, flanger, vibrato, tremolo, i can't even remember what else, like there's no tomorrow. All done in wavepad. I also tried to make it loop, but it's up to you whether i succeeded or not.

Insane stereo effects and powerful dance beat. If you listen at the end you can hear a voice saying "take em off" over and over. I swear to god i did not put that in there it is a artifact from the effects. I created these perfect drum beat/loops using my yamaha psr463 synthesizer, my zoomr8 portable studio, hydrogen, electric drums and audacity.

A self generated cue for a musical. I ha imagined a kite in flight, subsequently caught and destroyed by a nearby tree. I used a stock wood crack, and source files from robinhood76 and aust_paul, plus effects. Completed in pro tools 10.

An old squeaky manual water pump in my village at one of two cemetries. My gradnfather and my great-grandmother are lying here. I like this place. Its very calm and peaceful. I combine some good childhood memories with this place.

This is a cricket that was chirping outside of my apartment. There a few loud chirps at the beginning, followed by several softer chirps. I was able to get my recorder pretty close the cricket, so the sounds came out pretty good. I recorded this with a tascam dr-07 portable recorder.

Brief field recording of birds in a local park. I believe the bird heard in this clip is a blue jay but i am not certain. Recorded using a tascam dr-40x and noise removal done using audition's default parameters.

A horror sound for as a sound effect. I played smoke on the water on my guitar, recorded it and edited it in audacity. I reversed the audio, tuned the sound lower and speeded it up. This was the result, a creepy horror suspense sound.

I recorded myself typing on my corsair k95 rgb platinum. This is a keyboard with cherry mx brown mechanical switches and has a tactile feel to it. I recorded this with a audio-technica at2020 condenser microphone w/ pop filter and shock mount.

In the south of france near "villeneuve les maguelones ". I walked thru wet land to record a group of flamingo. From 0 to 1"30 i walked. At 1"45 the flamingo began their discussion. Recorded with nagraivs and a pair of beyermc930 in ortf configuration.

Had a patch. Changed speed, attack and delay time. Got this. A bubbly noisy landscape. At the end i dissconect the "main lfo". The one thats makes things advance. But beyond that i get sounds.
