I made a simple alarm sound on logic pro x by layering 2 alarm sounds on top of each other to give a more realistic panic alarm sound. Thought i'd share it with the community as i found it really useful in some of my videos.

I was filling a giant plastic bucket in the kitchen full of water using the hose attachment. I tried let the water hit the bucket in different ways to change the acoustics of the sound over time. If you can use this, go nuts - i'd love to hear anything you can do with it.

For this file, i isolated the samples i liked and left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. Attribution appreciated but not required.

I used a pair of soundman okm2 mics as contact microphones which i fixed to the surface of a frozen lake, then recorded the sounds made by throwing or skimming several stones and pebbles across the ice. I needed a sound of someone falling down some stairs, so i grabbed a pelican case (took the camera out of it of course) and dropped it down the stairs a few times while my mate was holding a zoom recorder at the bottom. At one point the case hit my friend in the leg, but don't worry, he is ok.
