The loop was created with one of reaktor 5's instruments which was modified to create 4-second loops that sounds something like techno or general electronica. The drums are all created using a subtractive synthesizer, most of them sine waves and were modified several times.

And the device being too tiny to produce the sound signal, it was difficult to record the full length and frequencies. There could be other better sounds from a professional recorder. It just gives an idea of how it hears.

Happened upon an orchestra warming up/rehearsing inside st. Louis cathedral at jackson square in new orleans. It's that beautifully cacophonous sound of all the instruments getting into tune, some of the musicians talking (a few tourists as well).
