A soundscape i created for fun that can best be described as sounding like standing inside some kind of giant living monster. Created using a voice sample reversed and slowed down and a drum sample slowed down.

This is a sound of 2 persons walking on a pavement (outside). You can hear two different shoes and birds singing in the background. I recorded this with a zoom h4n. Hope you like it :).

That sound was recorded in mai 2016 inside an old watermill house in bavaria, where the old waterwheel still drives a wooden gear with cogwheels. Originally that watermill had several purposes like hammering, sawing, pressing oil from different fruits or producing paper.

I played this ironfence to a church next to my house at latenight, the wind in the background gives a nice deep dimension to it, wind works almost like a sidechain tuch. Recorded with r-09, processed in logic 8 add. Reverb. East jutland, holme, århus, denmark.

Adaption of my "backwards swoosh" sound effect, fed through a delay vst with the feedback quickly increased to a very high level and then dropped down. Reminded me of a suitable effect for a warphole or something like that, hence the name. Yet another attempt at making an "astroboy" style effect.

I was recording outside my bedroom window while eating dinner in the living room, then i came back in here to see if i got anything interesting. I was zooming through the recording at 5x speed when i came across this bit of incidental pareidolia. I'm not sure what was going on, maybe the neighbors' stereo, but i don't remember hearing it, it's much louder in the living room so i should have. Whatever it was came out as a little distant choppy 2-notes alternating melody when played at 5x speed, which suddenly gets louder and solid as you hear the lower note followed by a third lower note. These 2 louder notes sound to me like someone singing the words all day. This would lead me to believe the original tones have some light harmonics i don't hear at normal speed. After which it goes back to the softer stuttering 2-note alternating thing from before. It doesn't sound like much at all at normal speed. So i just did a few straight pitch changes with goldwave until i got to 5x and saved this little file. See if it sounds like "all day" to you.

A drowsy, warm lazy hot day in mid-summer in the forest of the midwestern usa. As is the case around mid-july, the birds are not singing as much. Perhaps they are just exhausted from raising a family and wilting from the heat. The insect chorus ebbs and flows, like the ocean waves creeping up on the beach, and retreating back. Except, unlike the ocean which never stops moving, the insects will eventually stop singing and hibernate for the winter. I have always loved the sound of propeller-driven planes and their slow, molasses-like sound. That sound has always induced a melancholy touch to the recordings. To me, this drowsing plane symbolizes change -- even though the birds and plants are still in full growth, the end is near. . . In about four more weeks schools will resume, the emphasis for many will turn inward. Leaving the woods to deal with the transition. The droning plane, like ocean waves, symbolize change. . . In several months there woods will be drastically changed. Recording made on july 18, 2022 using sound devices mixpre 6 and the sennheiser mkh 8020 omnidirectional microphone. I began my express bus ride at venice and vermont. I proceeded to record my soundwalk for exactly one minute as i rode to venice and normandie. I sat on the top row in the middle of the bus where the two parts of bus are connected like an accordion. I sat silent the entire time.

Ringing of a small metal bell. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Used audacity's noise removal filter to to remove background noise. For this file, i isolated the samples i liked and left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. Attribution appreciated but not required.

A casio pt-1 rhumba loop, 4 times and already cut loopable. Recorded with a yamaha 12xuk mixer. No fx applied. I made this because i needed it for a project and since i love this rhumba rhythm i like to share it. Around 60bmp.
