A small recording i made to go with a short animation for a competition i entered. Using morphovix and audacity, first there is a small voice then a deeper one, and finally an evil voice followed by laughter. Whilst this is creative commons 0, it'd be nice to hear if anyone uses it (and where) in the comments. Thanks for listening.

Some say 528hz and 741hz is a devil interval, and you can get hurt or even been dead by listening to one. Some don't give a crap what others are saying. So take it on your own risk. God bless!.

This is a version of the sound that (if you're over 25) you can hear. It's called mosquito. They've been using it as a silent deterrent in the uk to clear streets of teenagers. . . Hmmmm. Makes you wonder. Not a great sound sample, but horrible to listen to and a reminder to us all of the power of sound. And the invisibility of it. Kj.

I recorded my voice while watching and listening to stuff to force real reactions out of me. This way i can have real voice clips for stock instead of trying to fake it. This was while watching something sad, but something cute happened that made me giggle.

I like to listen to static (often actually) and it actually shifts a lot through out the day. So i heard some cool ringy stuff. . & decided to sweep through the am band. . . And actually touching the screen of my cell made the static louder. Sounds like a synth.

24 bit 44. 1 10+ minutes of mono modular noise maddness. I particularly like 9:57 to the end. Excellent for wavetable creation, cutting up for sound design, or just listening to fm synthesis noise based mostly in zerocillator.

Yet another "low, bassy thing". Will sound better once downloaded as the preview function sometimes adds compression artifacts. This one is loopable and might produce a mildly stupefied mental state in some listeners. So if you go and load it into your ipod don't try operating a vehicle or playing with power tools.

Another example on "listening" to a computer. Many sounds you hear are overtones from fans. The sharp noise is data transfers. Most of the sounds are caused by moving the mouse. The processors are not "heard" by placing a small antenna between the flat cables from two hard discs, you can capture the data packages. That may be done next time.

Whitney music box, unnumbered variation. This is similar to variation 1, except that the music is played by a piano, and only 40 notes are used, instead of 48, to keep the pitches within a more listenable range. Here's a low volume, low frequency noise recorded during an acoustic survey of a condominium to identify a sleep-disturbing noise. It is primarily a combination of 13, 18 and 23 hz (5 hz steps). Not audible on computer speakers, it should be listened to on closed back headphones or very good quality sound system.

This is not a perfect loop!it was sampled by me inserting a jack over and over into a casio sk-5. I did the beats by ear, while listening to a metronome set to 100 bpm. It is extremely close though. You don't have to site me if you use this sample in your work, i don't care.

Bowling alley- the thing with recording a bowling alley is that the pins are so far away. When you’re the one bowling, you’re not really listening to all the chatter around you; in fact your brain does its best to cancel it out (it’s called selective listening, google it), and so you really hear the clamoring of the pins as they crash and fall. Microphones don’t have any such ability; they just take in whatever sound waves reach them, and they don’t care either way about the relative loudness of those sound waves. So what happens in a recording like this is that even though it sounds like any ordinary (busy) bowling alley, the pins sound really far away in relation to the human chatter. Nady stereo condenser microphonefocusrite saffire pro24 interfacelogic 8 on a macbook probowling alley in san diego.
