Synth phrase in d minor. Looped and used many times in live performance as a pad, kind of a drony texture with delays.

A live recording of a 100+ choir in rehearsal. Recorded using a matched pair of rode nt5 for the left & right with an additional akg c451 for the centre. The idea of this recording was to capture the way a choirs sound fills a room. Some minor addtional eq has been used in the 35khz range boosting by 1db to give the performance a little oompf.

Single note sampled from a deckard's dream diy analogue synthesizer that i built myself. Deckard's dream (ddrm) is an 8-voice analogue synthesizer designed by black corporation and inspired in the classic yamaha cs-80. The ddrm (and cs-80) is all about live performance and expressiveness via aftertouch and modulations. Therefore, sampling the notes like i did here does not make much sense and by no means makes justice to the real thing. Nevertheless, i thought it could still be useful and would be nice to share. Alert (!) or surprise sound effect directly inspired by the popular sound from metal gear solid. Performed live not quantized or synchronized to any particular tempo. The notes used in this performance should be the same notes used in the original game's sound (unconfirmed) detuned a few cents upward.
