Raindrops hitting my bedroom window. Recorded in carson, ca. Used a zoom h6 with the xy attachment and windscreen on, pressed mics against window for a contact recording. This was done in order to capture full resonance of the glass. (geotag is not at my actual address, but a nearby location. ).

Ok so most of these tracks in this pack have either been recorded whilst i have been on set so the names are reflective of the time and character location of the film it was originally recorded for. Recorded with a sennheiser mkh 416t, sqn 4s series ive mixer and tascam dr-680 pcm recorder.

High e played on an acoustic gibson jumbo. The guitar was recorded with a single microphone (a brauner phantera) connected to an api pre-amp. The signal was fed into a digidesign a/d converter and recorded in protools 9 in waveform audio file format. All the samples were subsequently edited with the gpl software audacity. Manipulated sounds, mainly dogs barking, recorded into a korg kaoss pad3 from a hp computer. The recordings on each pad edited to fit a time frame. Played on four pads on the korg pad and recorded back into the hp computer into cubase. Then manipulated further using standard eq and a tint of reverb. Location: reykjanesbær, iceland.

A field recording of a semi-rural stream and cicadas. The cicadas life cycle means that in some years they are particularly abundant. The recording was taken with a tascam dr-70d (internal mics) and very little processing (only high pass filter to remove location rumble) 24 bit 44. 1 khz.
