This sound is of a commercial airliner passing overhead. It was recorded using my zoom h4n stereo field recorder, as i faced east, looking over sun devil stadium in tempe, arizona on top of what they call "a mountain". It was captured around 3:30 in the afternoon, in the spring of 2014, with the airplane due east towards phoenix sky harbor airport, descending on approach.

A middle-frequency note that sounds like a swiss alpenhorn or person blowing into a conch shell. Made by blowing into a short section of pvc pipe.

I recorded it with a samsung ace3 and then put it through the cubase 5 with some high and low cuts in the eq from cubase and with a litle gate.
