The same bonnie file but this time run through rx's spectral denoise to clean it up a bit. A little bird noise is still audible between the clicks, but pulling samples from it should be much cleaner and easier to isolate. Enjoy.

This is a short, dissonant loop made with a neapolitan mandolin. This has been recorded with an sm7b into a rme interface, and quantized to 148bpm in logic pro x. This is a dry file with no other processing. I used it on a couple of old-school hip-hop beats to trigger effects or completely butchering with distortion for some extra textures. I thought it might come in handy to rap producers out there! if you do something with it, i would love to check it out!. I was recording an acoustic version of a song called "closer" by my band dead rituals, and a friend let me borrow this old neapolitan mandolin. I made some random noises by picking behind the strings at the end of a take, and i decided to sample it!.

I'm currently working on some musical ideas for a good friend's cartoon series and thought i'd upload this little experiment with an old vinyl of some mozart. I recorded the output of my deck and messed with the speed and pitch, as well reversing the audio and adding some distortion and other effects once it was in my daw. An extremely squeaky metal bench swing at a public garden. The grating metal begs for lubricant like an old barn hinge. Some background anthrophonics, like a passing truck early and some individual voices during the recording, as one might expect in an urban park.

The friday call to prayer in the old city of jerusalem recorded from the mount of olives. I only had a cheap digital audio recorder with me and processed the file using audition noise reduction tools. For uploading the file was compressed using quicktime. It's attenuated but i kind of like it.

I was actually trying to make a different (but similar) sound for another purpose, and when i heard these, it reminded me of old kung fu movies where someone would throw a punch and just hit the air.

Little breakbeat with skippy snares using one of the chemical kits in reason. Kick and snare were processed separately. A bit of fuzz used across the board to dirty it up a bit and some gentle re verb on the snares and hats.

I generated a square tone with audacity and applied a few effects to it, mostly wahwah i think, and faded in and out. It's the same as "machine. Wav" that i've uploaded, but louder. If you repeat it, it makes a very believable sound for an old video game machine.

Old epson printer has this ink-check procedure if one of cartridges is missing. The head goes back and forth while integrated circuits inside are testing cartridge response. I couldn't let this one go.

The basic sound of a clothes dryer tumbling, with loud clicking from the clothes inside -- buttons and zippers against the drum, along with the deep rumbling of the motor and the thump of the tumbler. Recorded on a sony pcm-m10 recorder with a very old electret condenser microphone.

Very old track, not very fond of it personally but possibly useful still. Guitars recorded with line 6 pod x3, with a lot of reverb. Many recordings overlaid on top of each other. Simple drumloop added beneath it all.

I got hold of an old sony dat machine (tcd-d10 pro) and noticed a very interesting sound when i opened the door to the cassette compartment. The sound was recorded with an olympus ls-14 and was slightly edited in wavosaur.

The beep tones my old pager makes when it is turned on. There are a couple 'boot up' beeps followed by the 'low battery' warning beeps. I needed some of this sound to use in a theatrical production [ a new brain ]. I recorded it on my laptop computer using a cheep condenser mic and audacity.
