3,052 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Old"

This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.

Do the harlem shake? why not the paint can shake?. Needed to replicate someone shaking a jerry can to check if there is fuel inside. Because someone didn't think to add water or something in it while they were on set filming the bloody thing. So the closest thing i could find to recreate the sound was an old paint can down stairs.

I have a lot of old hard drives, some of which are still working and others are damaged. My project is collect the sounds produced during start-up. To do this i use a digital recorder zoom h4n using the two incorporated microphones and two 'diy'ed contact microphones additionally. This here is the sound of a western digital caviar 32500 working fine.

This is an old gramophone with a 78rpm vinyl-record. The sounds include the winding-up, the placement of the needle, crackle-noise and other surface sounds of the vinyl, lifted-up needle and the sound of the vinyl record-player stopping. Recorded in stereo on a zoom h4 handheld recorder.

Another very old production, i think this one's from around 2009 even!. Using the reverb of a chord i made on my guitar i created a drone-y, washed out sound. Added some subtle bitcrushed drums, cymbals and a vst synthesizer plays some notes to fill it out a bit, and a dark brooding bass-like instrument pulls up near the end of the track.

Kittens: the screeching of 3 week old kittens is very distinct. Real kittens can be heard here. It is high-pitched and a “close-up” of these sounds coming from these tiny creatures. By overlapping some of the screeching it creates the illusion of more kittens. A slight purr can be heard which comes from the mother. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg.

Our good old bosch dishwasher is doing its magic. This is a more rhythmic loop. You can hear a glass or bowl squeaking/ringing in the water jet inside the device. This was recorded in my home studio, on a cad e100s microphone. Recorded in audacity, i copied the clip, lowered the pitch, stretched, added reverb, and reversed the audio. The old flour mill at woodbridge in suffolk, england is powered by water from a tidal pond, which refills at every high tide. It is one of only two in the country. The sound is of the vertical wooden main drive shaft creaking in its bearings, with the mill-wheel rumbling in the background. Recorded with my sony pcm-m10.

This is my four years old kid singing a long version of the abc's song. The idea of this version is to learn the sounds of every letter in the alphabet.
