That was originally a boring industrial water heating system furnace. So i fooled around with audio effects to give that result that sounds like one of those old low budget science fiction movies or even some cartoons. It can be used in many type of stuff, it's up to your imagination.

Old sound i uploaded years ago and never described until now. Software made, using addictive drums with a lot of reverb effects, subatomic vst, gort's minipiano soundfont. Plugins used: camelphat3, camelspace, black_box, bouncing ball delay, ambience, and a bunch of stock fl studio reverbs, eq's and delays.

I sat on the steps of "old new york" on the backlot of fox studios in los angeles on december 20th and recorded this ambience track. Not lots going on, but a few crew people walking by and some forklifts, etc. Recorded with: sanken cs-1e, sound devices 702t.

I searched for a long time to find a jaws harp sample and eventually found one and successfully extracted a few notes from a very old appalachian folk song field recording, well out of copyright. I sampled a single note, which then fed ok into a midi keyboard, allowing me to effectively play jews harp melodies. The result was pretty ok.

A cool and very much slowed down guitar note, recorded not long before my guitar broke (it was old and it cracked). I accidentally made it and i thought it sounded cool i guessit can be used for a jarring moment or a suspenseful sound or something like that. Im sad rn (´。＿。｀).

The sound of a midland x-talker ringing when i hit the call button. It sounds like one of these old home phones. All i did was plug the walkie-talkie into my computer and then record the sound when i push the call button. This could be a good walkie-talkie sound.

This is an old commercial refrigerator from the grocery store. It was making a very nice regular droning sound so i placed my phone inside the fridge to get a clean recording without the noise from the store. Perfect for a spaceship drone or background noise at a factory.

Old guitar multitrack recording with some effects from the pod x3. Some post-processing, not much. There's some minor clipping issues since i never got around properly mixing this and the original project file is long lost. Maybe someone can find use for this :-).

This is a short, dissonant loop made with a neapolitan mandolin. This has been recorded with an sm7b into a rme interface, and quantized to 148bpm in logic pro x. This is a dry file with no other processing. I used it on a couple of old-school hip-hop beats to trigger effects or completely butchering with distortion for some extra textures. I thought it might come in handy to rap producers out there! if you do something with it, i would love to check it out!. I was recording an acoustic version of a song called "closer" by my band dead rituals, and a friend let me borrow this old neapolitan mandolin. I made some random noises by picking behind the strings at the end of a take, and i decided to sample it!.

This is a recording of myself banging a garden chair, an old table and a ladder together to create an earthquake element. It is completely raw, so no processing has been done, no eq, nothing. I recorded this in my living room with my trusty sennheiser mkh 416, straight into an mbox mini and into pro tools.

This is the closest i could get to the ambient sound of a borg cube. I tried hard to replicate it and this is the end result. Originally recorded on an old zoom h2.

Recorded on my zoom h4n 44100 hz stereo. This is a short clip of my 11 year old son playing basketball in the driveway at our house. There is ambient road noise. It starts off with a swish, then some dribbling then another swish. This is a rubber basketball bouncing on asphalt with a metal rim, nylon net and wooden backboard.

Insects (i think mostly crickets) make this noise. It sounds so. . . Infernal!, or futuristic (electronic for sure). Recorded at close proximity with a sennheiser 416 microphone, to a sound devices 552, in a residential, fully attached house, with minimal noise and background but natural ambience and reflection, from a large (bed)room.

Vinyl-like sounds coming from my old guitar(cheap stratocaster imitation) connected directly into the mic input of my pc with an adapter, the volume and tone knobs, and the five way switch make a similar noise but way more louder; which can be heard around the end, the audio is compressed with the compressor from ableton live 9.

This is a sound effect i generated that simulates the background noise of a vhs tape from ca. 1991. It is basically pink noise at approx. 0. 01 dbs and sawtooth wave at 60 hz, both combined with audacity. It is ideal for adding to video projects on i. E. : sony vegas to recreate the effect of vhs. Theme hand saw :. Production step :i reccord the sound of someone speaking. I copy this sound 4 times. One time on two i « invert » the sound for creating a contrast. So four speaking are on the « original sens » and four on the contrary. On a another track, i take another short recording of a men voice and copy this once. I add this new track to the middle of the first once. To finish i chang the pitch of all the track with a percent of change of -24. Description :this sound look like an old wood hand saw. In an antique store in laconner, washington i saw a old black desk rotary dial telephone. I dialed the numbers 1 through 0 and recorded them on my cell phone. It's a fairly clear recording and different from the other rotary dial sounds here. I rolled off the low end a bit to get rid of some ambient noise in the store.
