This sound is created with two sounds that i recorded at the university. First, the sound of the huge door to out, then the lighter (which helps to feel the cold around) and the sound of someone smoking a cigarette. First of all, i cut the two fragment,from two different track, that i wanted for my mix. After, i first worked on the door sound. After i reduced noises, because all seemed better after noises reduced ! i made the same thing for the other sound, the lighter and smoker one. Then i ad the last one at the end of the first one, mix a little bit to make the two sounds seemed natural together. After, i normalized the track. At the end, i saved and export my track !.

Recording of the tires of a flat bed trailer going over a gravel path. This was from a hayride where i was sitting in the back with a bunch of kids being pulled by the tractor. Recorder was just a couple of feet from the wheel so most of the kids noises and even the tractor engine get drowned out, but still somewhat audible in spots. Great single-speed diesel engine sound, loopable for any length background you need. This one happens to be at about 1200 rpm for a four-cylinder ford tractor engine. That said, i am living dangerously today because it's a field recording and i'm not saying where it was. Not because i can't, but because i frequently use the wrong door when entering or leaving the supermarket and i usually completely ignore the painted traffic directives in the parking lot.
