These are samples from the new korg electribe emx2 music production station not the best recording quality but some nice sounds anyway the weird naming is due to the autoslice function in renoise wich i used to separate the samples from a one shot recording.

My recording "fizzy water" is much better than this version. Please use it, not this one. I made a video recording of a glass of carbonated water in a tall glass, using an ipad. Then i played it back and recorded it using a zoom h2 stereo recorder. So it got processed through the different media. It produces a nice fizzy sound that some people will find useful.

I used a minidisk and two pzm's and a home made spliter box that worked only if you never touched it. It was one in the morning to try and avoid most of the traffic. Rain starts about half way in. Voice samples for video games i made for a tigsource game competition using audacity. They're made to be chopped up and as flexible as possible for a video game. This one is of a male hero type character. The sample includes no words, just vocalizations like grunts, eating sounds, and hit sounds.

I whipped up this wacky reinterpretation of the twilight zone intro while doing a sound design concept. This is the sound of metal dock posts being driven in during maintenance at a marina in vancouver, canada. They pounded some of them a hundred times without out any obvious movement. This is a recording of seven consecutive hits. There is a lot of echo after each strike with the slight sound of rattling chains after each one.

Here's one from a series of 'clang' sounds, great for impact moments in trailers & commercials, or to layer up with other sounds. They are somewhat high-pitch, so they might mix well with low frequency drums and impact sounds. Recorded with tascam dr-40 built-in-mics, by hitting a railing with a pipe in a stairwell and adding a little bit more reverb in daw.

Some creatures chirping at night, with city ambient noise in the background. I don't know if they are birds, or bats, or what. I stayed at my grandmother's place for a few days, where these creatures are heard every night, but no one ever saw them to be able to identify them. Recorded with a zoom h4n portable recorder, on the balcony in my grandmother's apartment.

This is a set of drum set interpretations of the baião pattern. Kit used was a 16" kick, dampened, but not stuffed to sound more like a surdo, a 14" ludwig snare, one riveted ride cymbal and hi hats. There is a horse running by on the road at one point and some dogs in the background, but the morning doves stand out the most and sound really beautiful at points. Includes the sounds of a class 458 juniper leaving the station and a class 450 arriving and leaving, with several announcements including one about future track maintenance.

Stereo field-recording of early morning (ca. 7:30 am) traffic on a rainy weekday in the little english town of goring-on-thames. The street is quite busy with traffic and has been mic'd close-range, giving quite a wide stereo image. One can clearly hear the rotten weather this clip was recorded in.

One sudden peel, truncated, modified and reversed in various ways until it sounded (to me) like it could vaguely represent the sound of sewing. . . . Walyunga is a haven of peace and tranquility just outside of perth. It's one of my favourite hikes in the area, as it's only a couple of hours long and combines proximity to water, a bit of a climb, stunning views of perth's skyline, solitude, and gorgeous flora and fauna. While i was recording someone sharpening a garden scrape on a dual stone grinding machine, the utensil got stuck between one of the stones and a metal protective bracket, creating a terrifying noise until the motor gives up. This kind of wasp is building individual nests made out of mud. Then they lay an egg inside of each one and brings a reserve of food in it for the future larvae. This is the sound of the female wasp working on its mud coccoon. Recorded on a tascam dr-40 with a rode ntg-1.

Doing a test of how this looks on this site. Triangle wave raising octaves in steps. Took 5 tries but got one that im happy with. If you notice at the end the color starts going backward when the frequency gets too high, instead of going towards red. (which is actually the opposite of the wave length ratios in the light spectrum).

Formatted for use in the make noise morphagene. This is another reel made in the modular using the new intellijel plonk, which is amazing for microsound but also really jagged edges. My interest in this module was as far from anyone else's haha. This is one of the most fun to play with, especially when sending modulation into every input!.

Another sound that has been heavily edited to the point of being unrecognizable. This sound byte is an odd one that i made when i was pretty bored, it might be good for a drone or sound of a phantom or something. It could even be a warning or system message for a game. Either way, hope that this strange sound is useful to you somehow.

This is the second part of a recording an overflowing brook in summer, out in a farmer's field after a rainstorm. This one is pretty clear but there may be some artifacts created by my phone being jostled, or other sound sources in the area, but it's long so those could be easily cut out.
