A sound i created in garage band i originally intended to use as a podcast intro. . . I suppose it could also work at the beginning of a pop song or something as well. It includes some synth, guitar, processed vocal sounds, percussion, and a panther growl.

I have a pair of these balls and searched for them here on freesound and haven't found longer recordings, so i thought it might be a good idea to upload some recordings. I used a tascam dr-07mk2.

Samples taken from the soma ether from my home studio. This file is formatted for use in the make noise morphagene. Just rename the file to "mg(x). Wav" the same way you would with anything else.

This is a berimbau, a brazilian gourd instrument made of a wire strung tightly on a piece of bowed staff. There is a wah kind of effect made as you move the gourd in to your belly. There is some ambiance added to the sample, but it's mostly the instrument that you hear.

Some hi hat loop i made for a track i'm working on. One hat is doind some step pann pattern, another once per bar on left, another on right, and one more in the center with stereo verb.

Capturing the sounds of castanuelas, played subliminal, filigrained,recorded in different ways, feel free to resample && reuse. The problem is to mike certain wood percussion instruments to sound organic, natural and identifiable. Humanized with small microtiming variations.
