This is a "clap" that i recorded very roughly simply by tapping my fingernail on a ceramic radiator (yes, it did hurt a little bit)it sounds very lo fi and organic, and there is a slight metallic resonance to it.

Junk drum kit: single hit samples for a minimalist, pseudo-drum-kit made from various desktop items (keys, pens, books, cans, etc).

Created a loop in audacity by hitting an old coca cola collectors glass with a spoon in several locations, altering the pitch of these sounds, and applying them in a rhythmic fashion. Ended up with a kinda creepy march-like sound.

Recording of a 28 inch subatomic gong where the sound reverberates in a 22 foot by 11 foot room (same ratio as the kings chamber in the great pyramid). Time between gong hits are allowed to let the sound resonate through the room.

A simple square wave, done with chirp generator in audacity. Starts at 200hz then slides until 30hz. Bass booster and phaser added. Then enveloppe manualy modified (enveloppe tool) + fade out processing for the end of the tail. Then normalized.

Recorded the pitchy sound the top of a pot made when being submerged and taken out of water. Recorded on my zoom h1 with no processing.

This was created with sampled percussion from the keyboard in adobe audition cs6 and recorded via logitech webcam mic. The sound was further de-noised and cleaned in audition's spectral view and effects applied to make the arrangement work. Hopefully this will prove useful to some.

Hitting one of the two metal support beams that hold up the main pole of a basketball hoop, with a wooden rod. Recorded with a tascam dr-40.

Hitting a coffee can with a small rubber mallet. Cleaned for use in a sampler, and recorded with a zoom h6 with x/y 90 degree spread. Close range.

Beautiful gntle copper bells. 5 of them hanging smallest down,got them as a present from my x wife. I use them in my percussion set. Was recorded in tel aviv israel using a zoom h-2 recorder edited with reaper softwear. Bless.

As the title describes: a cinematic atmospheric element. A compilation of 6 different synths including a percussive base line underneath. Composed on magix music maker 2016 live, with cinematic synth, analogue synth & dn-e1 synth.

Music track made in fl studio. It has a very solum and peaceful feeling with a hip-hop twist. Great for background music for movies, or for a song.

Metal hits, rumbles, scrapes. Original sound was a shed door. Cut up and edited sound 264889 by epicwizard.

When i came to the strange decision to try recording my poems as songs i looked for ambience around the house. Silver tube inset in wood with mallet to create different singing bowl like effect.

Resonant reverb pop layers. Kind of a wood block mallet percussion quality. Might make a good menu sound effect for a game.

I recorded my dishwasher with my phone and used made it into a shaker-ish loop by speeding it up and using an expander. Its kinda weird but with the right processing it can give a really nice texture and rhythm to your tracks. Tempo is 125 bpm. Have fun.

Timpano, 71 cm diameter, tuned approximately to g. Several hits, from very soft to very loud. Played with a yarn mallet, directly in the center of the drum head. Samples are a little 'cleaned up' (noise reduction, silence removed, etc. ) but otherwise unprocessed.

An old recording of a metal utility rack being raked by another metal piece. I think this was captured with a cheap olympus digital recorder, thus the big noise floor. I was getting some neat percussive sounds modulating in the soundhack morphagene. Feel free to use as you like!.
