Recording of the rehearsal of the local gamelan orchestra of a small mountain village in bali. This was not a concert for tourists, more like a rehearsal party. They played, laughed and had fun all night long. Recorded with my smartphone, so the quality isn´t too good. . .

Heard this nice drum beat from behind closed doors in my practice space.

It's a recording i have made accidentally during a rock band's rehearsal. The zoom h2 was used as a microphone for vocalist. I have accidentally caused some feedback squealing. When i managed to get rid of it i said "pardon". This sound made me laugh. Recorded with a zoom h2 plugged into a guitar amplifier. Normalized and converted to flac using audacity. Enjoy.

I was waiting for a person at the conservatory of venice and i decided to step out on the terrace and trying a field recording. I was at the last floor of a tall building, you can hear people talking on the ground floor, music coming out from classrooms. Recorded with a zoom h1 without windshield, unfortunately there is some wind and handling noises.

When he committed suicide a few days before the first rehearsal, the sheet music for Come Down Ma Evenin' Star was found in his pocket. It became Lillian Russell's signature song, and is the only one she is known to have recorded.

This was recorded as foley for a sound design / composition contract i took for a theatre company. We needed a train sound to signify crates of dead soldiers being shipped back from the front lines, to be processed and fed to soldiers holding encampants behind the lines. It was recorded in an arcade adjoining outbuildings of a factory converted to studio and office spaces. I excused myself from rehearsal to catch the recording shortly after learning a woman i'd been seeing for about a year was through with our relationship.
